My friend and I have been writing naughty stories for each other since our very late teens and that was quite some time ago. We have both been married for many years although our husbands dont know about our secret enjoyment.

Over the last few months, I decided to send a few of our fantasies to Literotica for printing. I was quite worried in case people would be horrid but have been pleasantly surprised that the comments have been really kind.

I have noticed that 2 of our stories have a red H opposite them. I am not sure how this happens but I think it must be good and is something to do with voting. Can anyone explain it to me.

All our stories are total fantasies. They are exciting to me but I would probably run a mile if confronted with them in real life. I think women like the underwear and fetishy ones as they are so shocking. Most of them are very erotic except that I hate the under age ones or anything that involves physical pain.

The last few stories (Uncle Charles) have involved some incest and taboo things and although I did get some nice comments I wondered if this would put off some readers from my other stiories.

One last query. I am from England and tend to use English type words like knickers and Mummy. Would it be better to change with the American words although to be honest I never feel comfortable with them. I think it is the nostalgia.

It would be a good idea to state in your profile that you write in British English.

You could put a link to your stories in your signature.

Hmm Ogg....

I think you mean English English? Much of the time I write in something a wee bit different, but my passport says I'm a citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain last I heard of it consists of the former separate nation states of England and Scotland, and the Principality of Wales.

When you go to your mailbox here there is a signiture option on the control panel to the left. You can copy and past a link to your story there. Go to your story and copy the browzer address and paste it in the signiture option box.

I use the term British English to distinguish that version of English grammar and spelling from American English. (Or Indian English, Chinglish, etc.) I could say 'Oxford English' but that sounds too like Hooray Henry English.

As a Scot, you probably use British spelling. I do, as a Welshman.

British English usually includes the English used in Australia, New Zealand and other Commonwealth countries.

Apart from the language, the word British can be confusing. Although the United Kingdom includes 'Great Britain', the geographical term 'British Isles' includes Eire and various islands including Rockall (or fuck-all if you've ever seen Rockall).

Please dont argue. I know very well what you all mean.

Dont be rude.
I could have said your stories are atrocious--badly punctuated, contrived, cliched and painfully unskilled. Instead I made a "hymen" pun that had nothing to do with you. Would you prefer that I'd gone with Plan A?

I read Guillotine Shawl Ogg and no it didn't deserve last place. Besides I have a real soft spot for you. ;)

Don't argue? On the General Board?

That would be a first.

It wasn't an argument. It was a civilised discussion about a definition of English between a Scot and Welshman.
