The Sibling Code by cherries_on_snow

Review:

Okay, I'll give this a 75 because I liked the build-up, the confused emotions, self-deceit, and the attempt to seduce and hoodwink his half-asleep sister. IMO, however, there was NO way that she didn't know about this. Heck, she probably wore that skirt and other stuff to attract his attention. I'm guessing that she was also just biding time with the boyfriend in the hope that her brother would take her cherry. Just my opinion on it. I do think that she could use an editor for this hot tale, because I had take it down from its potential 100 to the 75 for grammatical and spelling errors. Otherwise, it was hot enough of a naughty incest tale to earn such a high rating.

Bishop Ch. 1 by GypsyGirl84
http://english.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=259183

Category: Sci-fi/Fantasy

Review:

Damned fascinating story here. It has a plot, suspense, a villain, a hero, victims, a combination of magic and a supposed secret FBI unit to deal with magic, as well as fascinating characters and psychic links. Very good, I say. This one deserves a 100, and will get it from me. I look forward to the sequels. The sexual contact is great, albeit limited.

Molly's Conference by WickedDrX
http://english.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=259116

Category: Erotic Couplings

Review: Sultry office sex in this tale. Aside from the long paragraphs and occasional poor punctuation, it was a great, steamy story of one real taboo these days: office sex. I'd personally recommend that he just leave his wife and live with Molly, but that's apparently not going to happen, at least not yet. I hope that there is a sequel here, as there is certainly potential for a chapter or two more.

I was about to review one more story, but numeral lock doesn't work, so I can't today. But I will say that the story in question is actually a How-To, S & D's essay on appreciating a woman. It is a great companion to his wife's on appreciating men. I may not agree with it in every statement, but is sound advice overall.

A couple I found in the New List today that I felt worth mentioning:

Playing Doctor Ch. 01 by Wine_Maker is the beginning of a Romance that I just might actually follow. This one has me hooked. It's original, the protagonist is fantastic, the tone of the piece is wonderfully wry and fun. Definitely worth a look-see!

Everything Fades by Raynecrow 2 is in the reviews/essay category but it's one of the more moving and truly profound pieces I've read here, and it's the first offering from this author, so look out, Lit! Truly remarkable.

----

Just wanted to mention these... on to your regularly scheduled reviewer... :D

Thanks for the review and the kind words. I don't see my work as profound, but I'll take the compliment.

Thursday June 8th

Well happy Thursday to everyone....
Awake and half alert I am... I stumbled with coffee in hand to the back bunk today to muddle my way to the pc and then to the stories. Please RVC stories as you go, without the reads, votes and comments authors cannot know whether or not their stories are... the right stuff.

And without further ado.... away we go

My thoughts: As I read this letter from a man to his physician I felt pangs of empathy in my heart. I know what it is to love someone that quite possiblity never return the feelings that are expressed. I think that it walks the fine line of love and obession. I enjoyed the author speaking about his wife whom holds his heart and that he simply added his physician to his heart feelings. He also brings up something that has only come into being in my lifetime, the worry over stalkers. I wonder how many years ago someone could have sent this letter and simply signed it "Your Secret Admirer" and not worried that the woman would go to the police in fear.

A Certain Way
Author: FallingToFly
Category: Erotic Couplings
My thoughts: It opens with a woman explaining how her husband wants things just so. She quickly must make a decision one that would either require her to call completely apart or act with class and dignity. She chose dignity and I continued reading. My heart tends to break when I read stories (even news stories) about women that stayed with men that were not worth more then chewing gum stuck to the bottom of a stadium stand seat. The sex was well sex but that is not what kept me interested in the story. What kept me interested was the thoughts of the woman. She was a genuine women that was working on her life after finding out something devastating. I enjoyed the ending. I won't give it away so that you can be happy and surprised as I was, but I just say Kudos to taking things slowly and working on a strong future instead of bed hopping.

Across the Pond
Author: techsan
Category: Mature
My thoughts: I pulled this story up because their name seems to appear as an editor on quite a few stories that I have read. Some things stood out to me. "Here I lay, tracing little nonsensical geometric designs on her body which had not yet reached its nineteenth birthday." and then "I checked her user profile and noticed that she was just a little over 3 months past her 19th birthday." The inconsistancy got me and unfortunately ones that happens I tend to read the stories looking for more. I would venture to mention as well that although the base premise of this story is mature, there are acts of incest within the story that could very well turn off readers. (some readers are category purists and tend to get snippy). The story also switches from soft porn (cock, pussy, anal tonguing) to harder porn (cunt, cock, etc.). I felt that the end was a little rushed. I would have liked to have seen this story flushed out more.

Category: Loving Wives
My thoughts: Ahhh the kiss of death category. Um wow. I think that maybe this was a fantasy or something. This absolutely is another reason why there has to be more categories then Loving Wives because this in no way shape or form should have been submitted in loving wives. This story picks up every stereo-type about black cock and white wives and cuckold white husbands. I was sad that I had picked this to read. I had hoped that there was something within it that I would like.

Please as always.... enjoy the reviews and keep this thread for the reviews only.

I didn't review as many as I normally do today because I was not feeling well. Please have an enjoyable day.

Friday's Reviews

75 new stories today... here are a few that grabbed me:

Something Borrowed Something Blue by Janiexx is an erotic coupling story that is well-plotted and well-written. I agree with one commenter that it’s a little predictable, but it’s enjoyable nonetheless!

Town Cop Ch. 06 by Lovestowrite is a story I would have backclicked on immediately, but the subject matter caught my attention: a woman having triplets. This is a story where research would have been a good idea (not to mention an editor and spellcheck, but that’s not my soapbox with this one) because there are very, very few doctors or hospitals (actually none that I know of) who would deliver triplets vaginally. They’re almost always taken by cesarean section.

Rob and Carol
by Dinsmore is in the Romance category. I don't usually like stories that start with a lot of exposition, but the character's "voice" in this one drew me in, and I became interested on a personal level (Iraqi war vet, midwestern "rust belt" living and a school setting, all something I know a little about) and then found myself getting drawn into the romance. The female love interest is a real character--I love her choice of vernacular. It's a really sweet ride, all the way through, with an appropriately romantic ending.

An Awakening Ch. 02: Elisabeth
by geronimo_appleby is the second chapter in an incest series. The refined, decorous language of this piece makes all the sordid debauchery even hotter. Wonderful tension building. I loved chapter one, and chapter two lives up to the promise. Can't wait for chapter three!

The Secretary by Prettybluemonkey is the first story by this author, and it's quite a good start to something bigger. It's well-written, sustains a good buildup of tension, and while it's a little cliche, it still held my interest. Looking forward to more from this author!

That's it from me! As always, if there are any that I missed that you enjoyed, please feel free to mention them here, and don't forget to Read, Comment, and Vote!

Some Saturday Reviews

41 stories out as of 10:00am my time. These titles caught my interest as did their description lines. To comment on reviews or discuss other stories mentioned throughout the thread please post Here. Thanks ~ Red :rose:

Established Writers:

One Summer at Stevens Point Ch. 04 - by Ken Nitusa - Gay Male - 5 - A touching romance that gives two men clousure. I enjoyed the story and though I haven't read the other chapters I believe they would hold promising emotions too.

On the Bus: Virgin Voyeur - by sophia jane - Chain Stories - 5 - sophia jane takes the reader on a naughty ride with a very erotic couple that can't seem to take the boredom of a bus ride and decide to enjoy themselves the way we all would like too. Great read and I felt sorry that the one was wearing jeans!

Taking Care of Amber - by nasty_dan - Mature -5 - Public comment is off, but an email was sent to the author concerning this thread. I enjoyed this story. It was hot and arousing. If you don't like cheating lovers, don't read it, otherwise I recommend it. Descriptive and sexy. I do wonder sometimes if people say some of the things this writer uses in dialog... then again, I find myself wishing my spouse did, so perhaps lovers really do express themselves verbally... anywhooo... a great story in my opinion.

Yu Ling Gets Punished - by Orange Blossom - BDSM - 3 - I have mixed feelings on this story. It isn't written poorly, I would have liked reading more of something... more dialog maybe, or more of what the woman felt or the man. A story of a woman that broke one rule and then many more.

New Writer (3 or less stories on lit):

Posted on a Hot Wives" Forum - by Not_John - Loving Wives - 5 - A hard category to write in and some will always judge folks that write cheating wives, but this is a hot read and very well done, in my opinion. Did she cheat? Only in her mind... The paragraphs are a bit long, but I don't think it detracts from the story.

Just a few I saw that caught my eye today, too:

An Awakening Ch. 03: Marcus by geronimo_appleby heats up the page with lascivious abandon. I love the language of this piece, and how depraved it is within its Victorian constructs. A *yumilicious* from Selena.

Life is Wonderful is jack_straw's 100th submission, and it's a riot! A "non-human" story, but it's not what you might expect in that category. It's a fun and wild take-off on "It's a Wonderful Life" (with a Robert Johnson Crossroads theme again, that's two in a week! Great minds think alike?) It's a long one, so leave yourself time to sit down and enjoy!

Healer's Song: Prologue
Beneaththeveil

An interesting beginning to a sci-fi/fantasy piece done by a new writer. The writing wasn't terrible though it was a little rambly in places, the concept was interesting. I would have liked a little more back story as to who these people were and where they were, but it does have me interested in reading more. No sex in this beginning to the story, but I'm not much into reading sex today anyway so I enjoyed it. I gave it a 4.

:rose:

Theft of Innocence
Jongore

Another story that wasn't bad and for a fantasy piece, played quite nicely. On the reality scale it wouldn't have done well, but if you're just looking for stroke, it's got potential. A decent premise that hasn't been done to death. The writing is done well and it read easily. I gave it a 4.

:rose:

Goodbye, Love Ch. 01
MistressJett

As told by the author in her note in the beginning of this short piece, there isn't any sex. But I found it well written and interesting enough that I didn't need the sex. This is a short prologue that I'm hoping will lead into an interesting storyline. Well written, I found few grammatical errors, and what was found was easily overlooked. Nice job. I gave it a 5.

:rose:

Truth or Dare Ch. 05
SelenaKittyn

I probably shouldn't review this story as I'm slightly prejudiced. I've been reading along with it since the first chapter was submitted and have really enjoyed the build up. No sex, but a very healthy dose of plot line makes it unnecessary. This is one of those stories that you click on as soon as you see it in the new list and piss and moan about when you're done reading it because now you have to wait till the author posts another chapter. I gave it a 5.

:rose:

A Cliched Valentine's Massacre
Squeaky37

Okay, I have to admit, the title drew me in. After seeing massacre, I just had to find out what would be in the non-erotic cat about Valentine's Massacres. After that, the writing kept me there. A very cute story about a girl and her quest to shut up her grandparents and their loving meddling on her romantic life, I found it whimsical and cute with a slightly devilish ending. Only one Lit page long, it's well worth the read. A definite 5 from me.

:rose:

Gwen's Release
Reflection83

While not in a category that I usually find interesting, this one caught my eye because of the author's name. And then, while reading it, she caught my attention with her description of her fantasy man dressed in tight jeans, no shirt or shoes...what woman doesn't drool over that. Well written, though short, it's a good stroke story. And for a first story, it's a winner. I gave it a 5.

:rose:

That's it for me today. If you have a problem with any of my reviews or wish to comment upon what I've said, the thread for that can be found in my sig link. I wish everyone a fantastic and sunny Monday.

Thank you daniellekitten for the wonderful review. I couldn't be more pleased if publishers clearing house showed up at my door with a check for a million dollars. I'm so glad my user name is working as I hoped it would...lol

One more I'd like to mention:

Women in Time Ch. 01: Emmaline Jones by Elizabeth T is a beautifully written diary entry in a chain that has the promise to be amazing. (And I'm not just saying that because I'm in it, either! :p) The Women In Time chain takes the women of the same family and explores one of them through the decades. This 1900 entry deals heavily with slavery and there is some wonderful, convoluted history here. So looking forward to more in this chain.

Who is the AH?

No reviews today...the AH is in mourning and I simply can't. :(

My close friend,

Don't worry about not reviewing.

I am just so glad you liked the birthday card.

When did you find out about Colleen Thomas's passing? It was a big shock to me.

God bless.

Union Station

UNION STATION by Maiyeko.

There aren't many stories that can have me rushing here to post a recommendation/review, but this was one of them. I had to post this as soon as I read this story. We get a lot of new and fantastic talent on this site, this writer, however, is (IMHO) something special. Even if you're not into gay male fiction, I'd take a look at it. The story is simple, a fertive encounter between strangers in a train station bathroom. BUT, where so many other authors have used such encounters to present a straight-forward stroke story, Maiyeko gives us something more.

The encounter is more along the lines of men in an underground resistance finding a way to share an important secret. Their desperation, intensity, urgency and desire are magnified by a realy brilliant, hard-boiled style that struck me as being in the same vein as Raymond Chandler. There is a feeling of danger, a question of what lines should or should not be crossed.

Sound, especially, is featured, from the first line on: footsteps, conversation, etc. It give the story a staccato beat that's very primal suggesting the powerful sexual urges underneath the business suits.

Check this guy out and let me know what you think. I'll certainly be watching for more stories by him.

One Review on an off day. :D I'll do more to help out Falling Firefly. ;) :D

Delights in Time - by thecelt - Loving wives - 5 - First, the disclaimer. If you don't like cheating wives don't read the story just so you can bash the writer. This story is the first of a 3 parter. I will read the next two parts, probably won't review them, it isn't my day, but who knows I just might. I read this and thought how right this writer is in the telling of the tale of a husband/wife that lose track of what is important. She's messed up and knows it, but doesn't think anyone else knows of her secret. Excellent detail. There is not a lot of dialog and a lot of time is spent giving background work, but that to me makes a story. Great work. Public Comment was off so an email has been sent.

A few from me:

Trouble With A Name by wizardwriter is a humor/satire entry that really delivers. I chuckled the whole way through, and have a lot more sympathy for the Homer Simpsons of the world...

Another shout out for Union Station by Maiyeko in gay male. This story does a great deal in a short amount of time. I'd love to see what this writer could do in a longer piece. The writing isn't just writing--it transports you. It's seamless, effortless, a thing of sublime beauty, truly. I was amazed. And I don't even read this category! :cathappy:

Thanks Red for reminding me that Firefly was out for the day. I'm a little on the scatter brained side this week and completely forgot.

Fatima
rgraham666

For a first review for me for today, this story was impressive. Rob states that it's a rewrite of his very first story for Literotica and it makes me want to go and read the original. This is a beautiful, gentle and giving story about a man who finds a way to heal his love, the beautiful Fatima. I was impressed with the visuals and the author's voice in portraying both characters. Impressed is a very small word when used in comparison to this story. It's a middle length story but worth sitting down and reading every word. I gave it a five.

:rose:

My Brother's Wife
DG Hear

I love most of DG's work and this one is good also. A four lit page story about a man who is in love with his brother's wife and the events that unfold around them and the family. It's sweet and loving, with moments of sorrow and some of joy. I gave it a five.

:rose:

Maybe more later.

No prob. Danielle. :) I understand.

Another one today to help out. :)

Let it Rain - by smj54ap - Lesbian Sex - 4 - You know that line from Jerry Mcguire... “You had me at hello.” Well this had a 5 until the end. I didn’t see the surprise ending and was very disappointed in it. But I liked all of the story up to that point so gave it a four. I think others will be disappointed and this author may get some low ratings because of it. Overall this is a nice, sweet, write that shares two women falling in love with each other and the little things that interrupt their exploration until what I thought was going to be the beautiful love-making I had imagined. :( There is a second chapter coming... so I hope I get to see that scene that there was so much emotional build up for. :)

A quick review to add to today's list. :)

Becoming A Slut Wife: Helga - by Just Plain Bob - Loving Wives -4 - Needs some editing work, but this is a stroke story if that is what you are looking for. A fast paced and quickly described read of a woman that realizes she needs sex... a lot of it, and this sex ends up being the answer to her Mature husband’s needs. Short read and like I said a stroke story from the beginning to the end.
