No new stories today that caught my eye ( or more precisely none that held my attention past a paragraph or two). There's a full page of entries, so perhaps I missed one. If so, someone might want to guest review it......???

Instead, A Blast From the Past

TryAnything is not writer for all tastes. The stories are mostly Incest, with a few perversely swinging Loving Wives tossed in . One of my favourites is Dive, Dive, Dive , in LW. This tale is as raunchy as any short steamy stroker, yet adds crisp dialogue, a scoop or two of humour, and pleasant settings. There's goirl on girl, swapping, group sex, exhibitionism, inter racial, all in a stew. At 17 Lit pages, this is a mini novel. The reader can have as much fun as the characters, if you are prepared to skim past the parts you might find distasteful - with something for everyone, there is bound to be offensive bits - and focus on your own personal preferences. The length allows exquisitely detailed sex scenes. It is worth savouring over several reading sessions. I'm betting you'll try more TryAnything.

Funny as hell LW satire....

....not the usual JPB fare, so I am glad that out of sheer boredom with most of the choices, I took a chance on this one. Had me in stitches at the end...though it took a while to get to the punchline. I give it a 5, just for unexpected outcome. Man meets woman. Man waits years and finally gets woman into adulterous bed. Man finds out...well, I don't want to give away the hilarious part. Let's just say that the adulterer in question doesn't get the last laugh. I was too amused to be outraged at his bedding a married woman.

Absolutely my ideal of what a group relationship should be. Everyone in love with each other...as well as lust. Two women who love each other as much as they love their man absolutely beat three women who resent and hate each other, and are constantly clawing over each other to get him for themselves. As much as stories with tragedy, drama, and sadness have their place, it's refreshing to read of this simply sentimental three-way romance. The cynical side of me has no retort for it. I give this short but sweet bit a 5 for the restful retreat from the constant barrage of lying, cheating, double standards, and backstabbing. The variety of multiple partners added to the intimacy of a smaller group. Polyamory at its best.

Review:

Sizzling Sapphic swapfest, that's what I call this, for lack of any better term. The four women portrayed are all absolutely sensual, and to think of them, women that I happen to know as friends (though platonic, of course...story of my life)...engaged in lesbian sex acts with each other was just like chocolate frosting on an ice cream cake. Perfectly delectable. This definitely fits the fantasy description of the chain story. It will certainly be added to my fantasies now. I give it a 5 for pure heat. For the first Zade story I've read, this is a great first impression. Of course, it doesn't hurt to know that this is realistic in the sense that all four of them are RL lesbians and this isn't just some bi-guy's voyeuristic fantasy.

Monday picks.

A varied bag of stories apeared today and I think my review reflects that.

OK, my first choice for today was:

"His Better Half"

Transssexuals & Crossdressers

I was fascinated by this story. It drew me in and made me continue reading despite some sections that I found very offputting. Rather like looking at a car crash and not being able to avert my eyes. It's a story of a married couple - Michael and Michelle - and what happens when Michael accidentally finds out about Michelle's affair with another man.

At first I thought it was maybe a spoof story to enrage the trolls, (and believe me it has), but I've since found out it was written to order from a request in the Story Ideas forum.

Each to their own, I suppose, but I did find this story quite disturbing. The writing itself was excellent and managed to catch and hold my attention right through to the end.

To sum up, there are many people with many, many fantasies on this site and what pleases one reader will turn off another. This was a well-written story dealing with a fantasy and should be seen as just that - a fantasy.


My second choice was:

"In the Beginning was the Word"

First Time

Going to the other extreme, I found this story a pleasant read with a surprising twist at the end. Again, another well-written story that flowed very well and made me want to continue reading. The erotic scenes were handled with skill, while the characters of Becky and Anthony reminded me of one of my daughter's favourite American High School TV shows. This was perfect to chase away the winter blues!


My third and last choice for today was:

"Key To Her Heart"

Romance

This is the third book in the "Hunter Clan" trilogy and tells the story of undercover agent Rylie Moore. It's an action-packed, double lit page and had me on the edge of my seat as I read. As always, it's superbly written by Daniellekitten with detailed scenes, believable characters and I felt as if I was right there with them. Another successful series!

SMJ54AP: Romantic at Heart

Good morning everyone! This is my first attempt at story reviews so please bear with me.

1) "Val's Introduction To Wrestling" by victory_4_val
Category: Lesbian Sex

The story revolves around Val's introduction to female wrestling and how it leads to a sexual self discovery in a depraved way. While this type of Lesbian story is not my cup of tea, it was very well written with decent dialogue. Val's motivations are described in detail and are very believable. It's a darn good read especially the steamy and raunchy ending. Brava! My only criticism and its a minor one, stems from the fact that some of the paragraphs are a bit too long. I gave this one a solid five and look forward to more tales of Val and her wrestling buddies.

2) "Freshman Fluff" by leann511
Category: Lesbian Sex

Freshman college coed is a real country hick and easily taken advantage of by her city slicker roomate. This story showed a lot of promise but was lacking in believabilty. The degradation aspect started much too quickly with no build up or good explanation as to why. The author had a great idea but clumsy writing and poor pacing left me cold. I gave it a generous four.

Thursday Review: 2/15/07

Key To Her Heart Ch. 03

When I saw Danille's name attached to this story, I knew I had to review it. I went back and read the the first two chapters, twice. They're expertly written full of suspense, romance and...oops; I don't want to give too much away but Riley's revelation is a shocker.

I'm dying to find out what happens between Riley and Dillon. By the end of Ch.03, I cared about Riley as if she were my own flesh and blood sister.

I hope your satisfied Danille because now I'm hopelessly hooked on reading more chapters of this beautifully crafted piece of fiction as well as the rest of the stories in your impressive library.

Needless to say, I gave this story a five but Lord Almighty, I'd love to give it a ten; at the very least.

It's Saturday!

a more intriguing selection than the past few weeks. I'm short for time, so wil hit a few, try to return later for more.

Dorothea by JustPlainBob in Loving Wives departs from JPB's usual formulaic 'cheating wife gets hers' tale. This effort is sly, subtle and emotionally driven. NOT a short stroker, and no steamy sex. In fact, this might be the rare Bob story that I thought could have benefited by being longer, adding sex. Not a fair introduction to his work generally, but worth a look even if you did not find his other fare to your taste.

Fixing A Hole by westerntiger, also Loving Wives, takes the category in a much more conventional direction. Critics will find little to love about the protagonist, but if you park your moral judgment at the door, the non stop steamy sex will rock your world. There is excessive capitalization and other writing technical questions, but none of that matters when a story grabs you by the hormones and spins you around the racetrack at lightening speed. It doesn't matter who finishes first, everyone wins in this note quite short stroker. And what hubby doesn't know can't hurt him.

New Writer

Taking My Husband by RedJill is in Nonconsent/Reluctance, a category I am usually reluctant to read. This is a promising second submission, but left me wanting more. The plot and build up were very well developed, and the characters were just starting to be interesting when abruptly, it was allover. In particular, I thought the sex was passed over lightly and quickly. In a story that starts with a protagonist telling us she raped her husband, I expected strong, intense fucking. Instead, in two short paragraphs, she mounts him then climaxes. Once RedJill grows the confidence to describe the fifteen minutes in between (her timing), she wil be a terrific Lit Author. Give her a "5" for promise and encouragement.

A nicely written, one-page submission about friends who become lovers. It's mostly a long, very detailed description of sex between Nick and Karen and should definitely do the trick for those readers looking for a quality stroke story. I enjoyed it...


My second choice was:

"Those Damn Office Rules"

Erotic Couplings

Another hot story about a couple who meet at work and get up to more than they should. There's a nice build up to this sexy, well-written tale and there's plenty of sex over the two Lit pages to arouse and sustain interest. This is the author's first submission and I'll certainly be looking out for more.

My third, last and favourite choice was:

"Yakuza"

Another brand new author and a story that I enjoyed immensely. Whether it was because it reminded me a little of "Memoirs of A Geisha", I don't know, but this was a smoothly written tale of Reiko and Kazuma who meet as a masseuse and customer in Tokyo. Like the very best of massages, the erotic build-up to the sex scene is handled skilfully and I can only hope that there will be another instalment to this story.

New Girl In Town

Saturday's All Right...

Cocksucker by David73, in Fetish, might better be in Gay Male, but it intrigues because of the careful and systematic teasing build up both in the narrative and in the life of the protagonist. I found a few of the passages involving the female lead's character out of character, or inconsistent, and I heartily disliked the twist ending, but I commend this story because it refuses to be pigeonholed- sexy and sexual, but unconventional.

Sasha by woody_strokem in Incest /Taboo gets a mention, although I found it slow, and the eventual payoff weak. Like too many of today's entries, the dialogue is wooden. Yes, people talk like this, but it just isn't interesting enough. There is nice playful teasing, and about 500 more words of hot sex at the end would have made the wait worthwhile.

Blast From the Past

Mrs. Robinson by Slickman in Mature, submitted January 7,2003 is the Hotter sequel to Mr. Robinson (I can safely say this because "Mrs." has an H , whereas "Mr." misses ( but just barely, it sits at 4.46 as I write this). These stories feature a young newly wed, Lisa, who finds her new inlaws irresistible. As usual slick delivers heat, detail, dialogue, and melts it all together into a sensuous souffle. If you have not enjoyed slickman's work before, check it out.

First 2 Reviews for Wednesday. . .

This evening, (yeah it’s late. - but I am here) I picked Ch. 2 of a Mind Control story and thought it only fair to read Ch. 1, since it was out there and the series was just starting.

So my first review:

The Chemistry of Control Ch 01 - by Karyn Gardenia - Mind Control

This story is not for those that are looking for a “quick stroke” . . . this story obviously was written with the intent that the reader is going to want to know about the characters. “Get into their heads” or at least Brandon’s. I enjoyed it very much. The writing itself is clear and precise, the story interesting as it dives into Brandon’s thoughts and feelings surrounding himself and those women he’s used in the past.

Another genre this could have gone under is Anal, but don’t let that be the compelling thing that drives you to read this story. . . It isn’t about Anal. It has it in there, and though the scene is quick, it is well written as far as what the man is thinking while fucking. It isn’t detailed about the feelings, the sights, or the erotism about the act.

I enjoyed the story, very much so. . .enough to read:

The Chemistry of Mind Control Ch. 02

Chapter two is not like chapter one. It is still well written, but no real answers. I have an idea about where the “mind control” is, but would like to read more, to find out if I am right. This chapter left me feeling disappointed. It was like reading a completely different author. The scenes weren’t as descriptive, the emotions were just not there. It came across monotone and left me questioning what happened to our author between Ch. 1 and Ch. 2. . .

I do want to read more of the story, but I am not going to rush out to find it. I’ll stumble across it by chance I guess.

Another for Wednesday

Sexual Sabateur - by nikki_at_night - Erotic Couplings.

This is nikki_at_night’s second submission and though the comments have not been favorable, I do hope they continue writing. This story is in Erotic Couplings, probably because nikki fell victim to the Loving Wives confusion, where a wife cheats on her husband. . .a simple mistake even I made when first posting on Lit. So with that said, this story (according to Lits ‘standards’ of cheating spouses, or at least what readers have made this category about) could be put in “Loving Wives”. . .

The story is well written, fast paced, and enjoyable. The idea of a naughty romp in the park, something unexpected for our heroine, was very nice to read after back-clicking out of three previous stories. I found the writing promising, clear and lucid.

Good luck to nikki. Don’t let the 1 bombs discourage you.

This is a solid story, with a bit of sex, but far more a detailed and fascinating plot. The conflict, particularly in the husband's head about his feelings for his once shrewish and unfaithful, but now quite kind and lovable, wife, especially the dilemma over trusting her again, is particularly engrossing. I recommend this chapter to anyone, and gladly give it a 5.

Chapter 9 of a series I’ve not read. . .but it was a good chapter and I enjoyed it. Short, yet compelling. If one is reading the series, then one should like this one. It lets the reader see a bit of the emotions that Jenna has for Seth. Even though I haven’t read the previous works, I could sense this woman’s feelings for this young man. I also sensed the conflicting emotions in him, though I do not know why he has them. . .

Well written and it makes one want to discover what is going to happen, or at least what has happened up to this point.

All 3 Lit pages were worth reading. If you can handle a TS/TG story, I highly recommend this one. It has not just hot sex between a man and a transsexual, but some exotic, interracial/interethnic spice to it, as well as a realistic depiction over the man's conflicted love for both sisters. He thinks that he will have to choose between them, which is tough on him, though he seems ready in the end to do so. I know that I'd have a tough time choosing myself. Both sisters are delightful, from what I can tell. The culture shock and growing attraction between the American student and his neighbors are more than enough to interest me. It doesn't hurt that he truly cares about both of them as people. His own latent bisexuality is also an undercurrent that emerges here. I give it another 5.

This story is standard stroke material. It's not bad for its purpose, and one must overlook the usual cheating/bossy wife stuff if one wants to enjoy it (unless, of course, you really dig that). Whatever the case, it is clearly not meant for more stroke, and it works well to that end. The scene is more voyeuristic and lesbian than group, but there is a strong hint of possible threesomes to come (evidently, the wife changed her mind about MFF under the influence of pot, which was a conspicuous factor, along with Sapphic porn). I recommend this for those just in the mood to enjoy themselves. I give it a 5, and feel bad for the other husband, who is left out, although he had his chance (hence the cheating part).

Just Two Girls Out on the Town by JustPlainBob. Always a treat to have a lusty JPB romp to review, even if it is left over from Friday. Regular review readers wil know that I appreciate his sex filled explict dialogue driven style enough to tolerate the revenge motives, the bitterness, and unhappy endings that predominate in JBP's work. Not every reader will, so be forewarned. The opening illustrates the pluses and minuses well:

"Damn, you sure are tight for a bar bitch," the man grunted as he pumped into her. "Must only pick up guys with little dicks. Come on honey, push that ass at me, take me deep."

Now, the word 'bitch', unless used consensually in roleplay, is to me inflammatory( and I'm not even female!), but the context justifies it for me. If you are offended, do not read JPB.

This story is not a short stroker, but is intensive enough to be a stroker. It is also Mom and daughter 'cheating ' together, so has incest overtones ( no actual mom/daughter sex). I put cheating in quotes because it seems neither husband is doing their duty, so is it really cheating. Bob not only provides smut, he forces us to think. No wonder the trolls are angry. But it left me fulfilled and wanting more, just like a tasty treat ought to.

I have a busy day ahead, but hope to return with some reviews , if Saturday stories appear, and a Blast From the Past.

Tracy's Reading Porn by sourdough999 in incest/taboo is bro/sis which seldom works for me, but the slightly off kilter style and heat had me until the ending turned weird. I also wished the sex scenes had been more vivid and detailed, but the dialogue was crisp though occasionally corny. Sour is still a relatively new writer so I hope that he stretches future tales into more complex formats.

New Writer Reviews

A Friend In Need by wiseoldowl in Erotic Couplings could best be categorized as a "Loving Husband" story which investigates what happens when pregnant wife's gal pal needs a massage. I wished the story was longer and hotter - the actual sex is thrown away in a brief mention, after a terrific realistically dialogue rich set up. Since this is only wiseoldowl's second posted story, there is great potential here.

Set Up by cj8000 in Group Sex is a contrived and occasionally awkwardly phrased hubby/wife/wife's best friend troika ( who would really say " We kept our pajamas on. But we kissed. And fondled each other's breasts a bit. But we passed out." or "Can I see your penis now?"...that dialogue clanked). But its dialogue driven, detailed and sex that steams. A sequel is promised. This is cj's first effort and I'm already hard after the next.....

A Blast From the Past

The Best Birthday Present Ever by quinn rogan in Loving Wives. Quinn is one of the best LW writers. Though many of his 40+ Lit tales are in other categories, this is where he truly shines. This entry , posted November 21, 2001 investigates the issue of how things escalate after hubby tells wife what he overheard the moving men saying..... the mind boggles, but quinn's version takes 4 Lit pages, and how far it goes I don't care to spoil. There is detailed sex, but more importantly, a gripping plot and sexual tension. It sits at 4.73, and IMHO deserves higher. Unfortunately, quinn rogan has not submitted since 2003, but his archival works are a gift to us all. People sometimes like to trash the category, but to them I say: If you have not experienced quinn rogan, you haven't read Loving Wives.......
