New Story Review Thread

This thread will (hopefully) get us reading. The challenge is to read at least one new story per week -- preferably by an author whom you've not read before -- and post the link and a light review here.

Okay - I just read "Are You Ready?" by Arianna Lee (Erotic Couplings)

It is a first person POV vignette (1 page) about a gal who picks up the lead singer in a club band for some vanilla F/M sex. I didn't find the writing style particularly engaging, but YMMV. There were some technical issues for the grammatically anal, but nothing that would make me back click.

If you haven't already checked out Tsunami by the AH's very own Dr_Mabeuse, you must do so at once. This one of the single most astounding and beautiful stories I've read on Lit.

p.s. great idea for a thread, Imp. I shamefully admit I read far too little of the newly released stories.

Glad to hear your back didn't click, technical issues during anal can be dangerous.

I am assuming you want to concetrate on the positive aspects of the review in a thread like this, is that correct?

I would recommend the "Plug Your Own Story" thread or Shang's "Read, vote, ... on the person above you" thread for that.

My intent here was not a bunch of AHers trading votes ... but rather, the exploration of authors outside our cozy little circle.
