That sounds really good...I am not that creative in the kitchen. I work in a restaurant, so I get to "test" new recipes the cook invents almost daily, and I have a brother who is a gourmet cook, so I leave the imaginative cooking to them.

How 'bout Chicken Fried Rice?

Heat some oil in wok or skillet, add 2 cups of uncooked rice and stir until rice is browned.
Add 2 cans chicken broth
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
" green pepper
" red pepper
" yellow pepper
1 package of chicken tenders grilled or friend until done (add seasonings to chicken - I usually add worcheshire sauce, pepper, garlic salt and chopped onions)
chop up the chicken pieces and add chicken and all veggies to the rice/broth mix.. cover and let simmer for about 20 mins.

Scramble 3 eggs and set aside.
When most all of the broth has been absorbed, add 1/2 head of shredded lettuce and the scrambled eggs. Voila!

Very very very good.

Make this and call me in the morning

If I had to choose a last meal, this would be it!

SHRIMP RISOTTO

5 cups chicken broth
3/4 cup dry white wine
6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) butter
2 –3 cloves minced garlic
1/2 pound uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined
3/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 1/2 cups arborio rice
2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley

Bring broth and 1/4 cup wine to simmer in medium saucepan. Reduce heat; keep hot.

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in medium skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and crushed red pepper, then shrimp. Sauté until shrimp begin to turn pink, about 2 minutes. Add remaining 1/2 cup wine. Simmer until shrimp are just cooked through, about 2 minutes. Drain shrimp, reserving cooking liquid.

Melt remaining 4 tablespoons butter in heavy large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and remaining 1 teaspoon garlic; sauté until onion is pale golden, about 4 minutes. Add rice and stir to coat, about 2 minutes. Add 2 cups broth mixture. Simmer until liquid is absorbed, stirring often. Continue adding broth mixture 1 cup at a time, stirring often and simmering until liquid is absorbed before adding more, about 20 minutes. Stir in reserved shrimp cooking liquid. Cook until rice is just tender and mixture is creamy, about 5 minutes longer. Remove from heat.

Stir shrimp and 2 tablespoons parsley into risotto. Season risotto to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer to bowls. Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons parsley.

Makes 2 servings.

For more shrimp flavor, use a broth made from simmering the shrimp shells and some celery and onion.

LOL I'm so glad you specified that the egg should be out of its shell. I can seriously imagine poor, clueless soul just setting an egg on the potato... *giggle*

Experimenting in the kitchen is fun!
