New Here

Welcome. I'm not sure what you really mean when you say you are "Here to make friends and have fun". If you actually mean you are looking to cheat on your spouse you won't find this forum particularly sympathetic. There are a lot of good stories though and it is possible to make friends.

Hey SecretPoster, I'm in the same position! Xx

Hi, to both of you! Check out this thread:

It has lots of information for new posters. Lurk around and read some threads, and if you haven't heard yet, you may want to steer clear of the General Board until you are familiar with their long, pointy fangs.

Welcome to Lit, and have fun!!!:rose:

Not interested in cheating.
Welcome. :)

Hopefully you and your wife have had conversations about your specific definitions of cheating and unacceptable behavior. Plenty of people have come here for even non-sexual fun (e.g. just to post on the forums and learn) without the knowledge and consent of their partners only to have it blow up in their faces when those partners learned they'd been lied to and/or simply not told of their S.O.'s activities. Unfortunately, HT has lost several wonderful regulars because they chose to hide Lit rather than communicate and be upfront with their partners. :(

Your wife may not approve of reading stories and posting here, but she might vastly prefer transparency over secrecy. I know I absolutely do; even though I'm very open-minded, lying and hiding are sure ways to screw up a relationship with me, so I'd much rather be told something like, "Honey, I found a site that will allow me to explore my sexual self in a safe way, and I hope you'll support me in doing that even though it may not be your cup of tea," than be deceived in any way.

I don't mean to rain on your parade; I just hate to see another member heading down a path that could very well cause a ton of pain and even destroy their relationship. Whether you tell your wife or not, you can probably mitigate some of the potential damage by not saying anything you wouldn't want her to read.
