Obviously we are going to have problems with the chapter numbers. 19 has already been posted, and I submitted 20 and 21 and 22 yesterday and the day before.
You should be okay with 18, since Laurel skipped it when she posted my 19.
This trouble would have been avoided if you had just told me which chapter numbers you were submitting when I asked instead of saying they didn't need chapter numbers.
I'm sure Laurel will sort it all out. Hopefully.

Can't help what?? Figure out what I am doing? I specifically asked you which chapters you were writing, and you gave me some bull about not needing chapter numbers. All you had to do was say: 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 are the ones I am doing.
Then I could have picked up from there. All you did was make extra work for Laurel. Makes me no matter, I wrote them and labeled them from 20 on after she made my posted one chapter 19. There was no figuring out what I was doing.
Despite the fact we are running a very close first and second, I would have told you which chapters I was writing had you asked. Even though it's a competition, there's still such a thing as common courtesy.
I'm off to something else now. I'm done with chain stories for the time being.

I'm not sure why you are so upset but I did post earlier the stories that I intended to write. I don't see any post from you telling us what stories you intended to post. Therefore, since I already made everyone aware of which stories I intended to submit, I am on the correct side of posting.
Also, if you had already posted stories with the numbers, I don't see any post from you telling anyone what stories you intended to post and no post stating the stories that you had posted and the numbers. Had you posted a note letting everyone know what you had already posted, then I and everyone else who is writing chain stories in this particular chain would have the benefit of knowing what numbers were already submitted.
I'm sorry if it will cause Laurel any extra work but since you posted your work before my post, it seems that you dropped the ball in letting everyone know what numbers you used. Please realize that this doesn't just affect me; it affects everyone who will seek to write a chain story in this particular chain.
