I spent all afternoon upgrading the software for the Blackberry Desktop Manager. Well I should have read the blogs first!

The new software deleted the Redirector, which makes if possible to get business email on my phone. Now I'm spending the next 2 hours going back to the old software.

Sometimes I think these dorks lure normal people into upgrading just to mess with us.

No.

They're trying to tell you to upgrade to a phone that has a real OS and software, not Blackberry bloatware crap shit.

pfft...a couple of weeks ago iTunes pushed an update on to my laptop.

I've got the Tray Temp utility that monitors your motherboard temperature and it immediately jumped from 110 degrees up to 180 degrees.... AND IT STAYED THERE.

Well, it turns out that the Apple mobile sync service that runs in the background was grabbing 100% of one of my two dual core CPUs and spinning it to 100% utilization.

I had to turn off sync for two weeks to get around this until they patched it.

Blackberry software is the absolute WORST, it's no wonder that company is going down the tubes. I shudder thinking of the countless hours I spent trying to integrate their garbage into Exchange years ago, you couldn't pay me enough to deal with that bullshit ever again.

I have a Lowrance HDS7 with Structure Scan
I put the 4.1 update on it and I can't find a fish anywhere now.

Blackberrys back up all the info.

Your info isn't lost, it's just somewhere else.

Get an Android like a non-stupid person.

Android - the more apps you have, the bigger the download usage for all the updates.
Last week the updates alone used up 40% of my monthly data allowance

I get unlimited 'net and unlimited texts for ten quid a month.

I live in Australia - land of the 'nothing is ever free' code.
The best I can get is unlimited calls and texts, but a 4G download limit per calendar month.
