He muttered, taking off his glasses and pinching the crown of his nose to aleviate a sudden head ache. "Bring me the canister... Please?" He only hoped that there was something left, anything. There would obviously not be enough to salvage his spine, but what the AI could not know is that, because of what Eden had allowed him to do, he would gain full control over the harness, not right away, but in time.

Otto smiled softly and caressed Eden's cheek. "You have already done what you needed to, my sweet wife." "There is not nearly enough to keep me safe and remove the harness, but by all rights, this should be enough to restore any damage I may already have sustained..." He gave Eden a loving grin. He could not openly reveal his plan, knowing that the AI was clever enough, that if it ever figured out what he was about to do was count on the connection he did have with the harness was enough for the nanites, imprinted with Eden's protocols would eventually work their way in and cercumvent the current AI. Otto turned and handed Eden the syringe. "I need your help, you must inject this into the localized area for the few nanites that are left to be able to heal my spine. There is no easy way for me to do it myself." His voice was calm but his eyes spoke volumes. They tried to tell her to be cool, act natural, not to give the AI any reason to stop her. "After all, if I were to go parapalegic or die, my harness would be worthless, now wouldn't it?"
