OK, so a lot of have Netflix.

But what do you watch? What are you watching? What do you think we should watch? What do you think of that show? What shouldn't we watch?

The questions and answers are endless.

Tonight, I started Blue Bloods. I give it 4 stars... even though I'm only 5 minutes into it... didn't know it had Donnie Walburg...wahlburg? wahlberg...whatever... in it...weird...

I watch and rewatch Blue Bloods. I love Tom Selleck. The show is enjoyable. Sometimes preachy but, then again, I think that about a lot of shows.

Orange is the New Black has gotten great reviews. I have seen Season One which was excellent.

Mad Men..... excellent and Jon Hamm is a great lead actor.

House of Cards.... on my wish list. Along with Lie to Me, Blacklist, Once Upon a Time, Sherlock, Walking Dead and about 10 more shows.

I rarely watch regular TV. I get my fill between Netflix and Hulu Plus.

Let's see...

Breaking Bad - (I haven't started)
Mad Men - (On season 2 or 3, it's been so long. Might need to back track a bit.)
Dexter - (On my list, creeping closer to the top.)
I'll stop there, don't want to get to ambitious.

I'm with YRose on watching regular TV. Throw in some HBO to the mix and I'm golden.

Right now I'm watching Dark Matter, but I'm a netflix veteran. I started using it the day it went online. I hate the fact that they take things down out of the blue. Seven seasons of something, you're half way through the fourth season, and they tell you its going bye bye in three weeks.

Not a bitching thread so I'll shut up :)

Daredevil is a damn fine show. Kind of like The Wire but with ninjas.

House of Cards is a lot of fun. The show, like a lot of political dramas, is pretty fucking far fetched but Kevin Spacey is such a powerhouse you don't really care.

Orange is the New Black is pretty great. It strikes a nice balance between funny and dramatic. The way they flesh out the characters is pretty ingenious. And the ending this season put a smile on my face.

Also Arrow and The Flash I believe are on Netflix currently. They're my two favorites at the moment.

It's not on Netflix but Six Feet Under was a very good series. Michael C Hall starred in the series that involves members of a dysfunctional California family that runs an independent funeral home. The interaction of dialog with the deceased was sometimes very funny.

Yeah it's fantastic. Great characters, solid show, sometimes very funny. The episode with the porno funeral was hilarious.

I actually tend to search the documentaries first

I need to catch up on Orange is the New black and a few other shows.
I have enjoyed the black list as well I even watched a Netflix org Anime. (I wish I had known it would be subtitles)
its a great time kill.

We hadn't been netflixing for a while. But we binged the shit out of "master of none." I also got to add Noel wells to the acceptable threesome list. Good weekend, hah.

Nice, I'm also binge watching Person of Interest (I fucking love that show!!!)

And that's about it..... see, I'm boring...

I've never seen any person of interest. But my friends and I love recommending tv and movies. And we have one friend who watches it...and he says it has some of the best episodes ever ever. Like...better than breaking bad and mad men and all the recent greats.

Let me see if I can find you a clip of master of none. It's charming as fuck. Just sweet and low key.

Edit: as it turns out, the YouTube clips are bad and/or short. But here's a short, average one, haha

Started George Gently and am on season 2. It's a British murder mystery series. Gently isn't as rough around the edges as some of the others (Morse, Frost). His detective still pushes the boundaries of the law a little but is starting to be much less of a problem. I watched the first episode where they don't catch the criminals. A man is found murdered and they dig to find that he was an abuser at a childrens home. Many of the other abusers are still alive but none of the children who grew up will testify so they know the truth but can't do anything about it.

Miss Fischer's murder mysteries was one I was excited about. I watched quite a few episodes but it's not a serious show. It's stylish and glitzy, she solves so much of the case while the police find a few clues. It's a soap opera fashion show so I stopped watching. If you like less murder and more fun characters this is the show.

Znation, love, love, love it! The walking dead is boring, I stopped watching before the crazy preacher or the wife died. Znation has a goal, one of the guys was given an experimental drug that all the other test subjects died from, then he was bitten but didn't die. They need to get him to some scientists who can figure out if he is the cure. He can somewhat control the dead and no character is safe. Excellent dark humor, very little sense of loyalty from the test subject but the group knows he is their last hope. I can't wait for season 2.

Supernatural...old standby. Dean is a demon and has the mark of cain, brotherly angst and annoying Cass. I love Crowley as the devil but Cass and his "I have grace, now I don't" storyline is boring. After so many seasons I would think he would have learned something but he still seems to be the same wooden Cass.

Those are my picks.

So I'm trying to get into blue bloods but the family dinners remind me so much of my dinners when the family gets together.... It stresses me out lol

I have a jail broken Amazon Firestick. It is awesome! My neighbor does them and sells them on Craigslist. It's completely legal because it is all streaming content. Nothing is downloaded. She installs a program called Kodi on it which allows us to watch any movie or tv show ever made. Literally ever made. The cool thing is that there is no monthly fee. No credit card required. No sign up all of that.

You can search for movies dating back to 1912. Every episode of every tv show ever made is on there. It is awesome. There is a kids section with every Pixar Disney movie ever made. I get the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA packages as well. It also streams live tv. Also haven't had to rent a movie in 4 months as well. As soon as my Direct TV contract is up I will stop paying for cable.

As far as what I watch, we watch:

Games of Thrones
Homeland
OZ
The Wire
The Voice
Orange is the New Black

I am also watching The Carol Burnett show all over again.

I did a bit of Google Fu after reading your post IHC and reviewed the software involved. Its all interesting and a bit beyond my comfort zone in trying to figure out how the whole thing works. The prices on the JBAFS(s) seem to be across the board too.

As to Netflix...yep I'm using it. I've watched a lot of the Blue Bloods episodes, Marco Polo, Flash, Arrow and Star Trek genre shows. Many, many movies.

I was skeptical at first. Also was concerned about the legality of it. There are a ton of different apps that are in Kodi that you can use. She sets up the firesticks with the best ones for TV shows and movies. As well as live sporting events. I get to watch the UFC PPV stuff for free as well. Like I said I was skeptical but since she offers a 14 day refund of you don't like it, I went ahead and tried it. We are glad we did.

What's her price on the item?

She sells them programmed for $125. My friends and family have bought quite a few of them as well. A one time 125 purchase. We watched Spectre at home last night on it.
I am working my way through Person of Interest at the moment, though I do love my Netflix! I recently finished rewatching the Blacklist in order to get caught up for Season 3.

I haven't heard of Skystream, then again I hadn't heard of Kodi before now. It really is awesome. As long as you have a strong wifi system then all is great.

Sorry to derail the thread.

Binge watched From Dusk Till Dawn the TV show a few weeks ago.

We have a Roku up north. I canceled the cable and just got WIFI and the ROKU. Made homework easier. Netfix is streaming most all he time the TV is on up there. Family Guy is the normal nightly go to for us.
