Don't have much to say, just sitting here alone thinking.......uh-oh scary I know...lol

I have been pondering a post made by CyberPoet days back....too lazy to go find it, but it was about definitions of geeks, dorks, nerds, etc.

*warning* completely pointless ramble to follow......

One thing I have never really done is define myself by names. I have been called all of the above, including much worse, but I have only used them myself when I am being a bit.....ironic maybe (sorry if that is the wrong sense of what I am thinking...but I did warn you this was a ramble). I mean if I use them about myself, I am mocking a bit. It is along the lines of someone calling me a bitch.....now if a friend says it in a humerous way, I take it as a compliment. If someone says it in anger, I look and see what issues they are having (so nice not to take on everyone else's stuff). I do the same with the titles we use here.

Those words to me are summed up pretty simply.....we don't care too much what others think of us, we tend to follow our own paths, be different, think differently, be proud of our strengths and find ways around our weaknesses. I stopped apologizing a long time ago for being smart....for being different.....for being me
