I am too a proud nerd/dork/geek girl. I have always been that girl ever since elementary school. But I was the one that would defend myself by beating up those who were popular and poked fun of me. I always dressed weird. Never really matched, most of the time wore mens clothing. (No im not a lesbian). And I love sci fi movies and am big into computers. Majoring in Computer Graphics and Animation. I do wear glasses, have beenwering them for 12 years now. Im 20 now and people tell me all the time that I am strange and weird and even been told I talk too much. So glad that there are tons of other female geeks out there. I think guys get intimidated by us too. They don't want someone smarter than themself, thats why they have to go out with ditzy girls. They know they can take advantage of them, and they won't even know it. Kind of sucks though, seeing all these guys and some won't even look your way. At the same time, most of them I wouldn't even want to date.
Out of all the female geeks, who dated in High School and went to Senior prom? I never dated, the guys were too immature, and didn't go to prom. The whole idea of prom queen grossed me out, too much of a popularity contest. Not into that.
Glad I be among fellow geeks!!!!

Related to something on another thread again--why did she have to wait until some guy asked her out? I think another attraction of nerdy chicks is that, assuming they have the self-confidence to be proud of the 'nerd' label, they tend to just screw convention and ask out whatever guy they find interesting. Which may explain the high concentration of nerdy chicks on literotica--they know what they want and they aren't afraid to talk about it.
By the way, I think that you meant to write 'date' instead of 'sate'--or was that a Freudian slip?

I was a band geek, too! I was drum major my senior year in high school. I still play with the local community band.
And whoever said playing board games can be stimulating, I certainly agree. Knowing your competitor can keep up with you during a Trivial Pursuit game starts to make you wonder if he can keep up with you in bed, too.
Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody!![]()

Hypothesis: Your own undergarmet preferences are similar to those of the general "nerdy" girl population.
Study design:
a) Find a population of women who want to talk higher theories of some sort, and who don't dress like a model
b) Inform them of the study goals (so as not to get the observer (me) arrested)
c) Ask if they would mind opening their top for a visual inspection
d) Undertake a tactical inspection for softness of material
e) Divide groups into plain lumpy white back closing bras vs all other varients
Bin the data into the two groups and determine which population is the largest.
Hows that sound?

Don't worry, I've heard that the sting of a good slap in the face doesn't last TOO long.
My wife told me that in High School she would deliberately act ditzy and dumb so guys she wanted to sate would ask her out. But by the time she was at UT she thought, "They can kiss my ass if I am too smart for them." I was shocked to know that a girl would act dumb to date a guy. I have no intrest in a pair of tits that talk. I want a woman smarter than me, to challenge me in all areas. A good relationship should be mutually challenging intellectually, sexually, emotionally, spiritually and several other "ally's". Otherwise they get boring, why do you think the divorce rate is over 50%? Sex only gets you so far!

(No, I'm not married yet.

This is kinda odd, but have any of you ever had an intellectual pursuit become foreplay? I used to date a girl that was literally brilliant, and we always used to play Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit and things like that together because we were both so competitive and enjoyed being smart. When she would make an obscure word for lots of points, it almost felt to me like it would feel if she started to do a striptease. And the time she became the first person to beat me at Scrabble, I practically jumped her on the spot! It's an amazing connection when you each understand that you've found someone who thinks like you do and enjoys a little rivalry =)

What you said about the Scrabble being like a strip tease reminded me of something I've always wanted to try... Strip checkers! Or Scrabble, or Trivial Pursuit, or my favorite game, Huggermugger! I'm such a huge fan of games, all kinds, and that would add a whole new dimension to them that could raise the stakes (not just for breakfa- er, pride anymore) and make it a little more appealing to lose the game.

I've always loved being a nerd.
I usually have 3-4 books going at one time. Watching/reading sci-fi & fantasy are two of my favorite things. I can watch Discovery Channel, TLC and History Channel all weekend and never get bored.
