P.S. I love the word dork... to me, it's the biggest compliment I can give someone! I AM A DORK AND I'M RAD BECAUSE OF IT!!! lol

Saw that your cult is accepting applications. Where do I apply? :p

You guys have no idea how happy I was to see this thread! I'm a self-proclaimed nerd... and I actually get insulted if someone tries to tell me I'm NOT a nerd! lol I wear glasses, I'm intelligent (or so I'd like to think), I've got OODLES of 'strange' hobbies, and I just used the word oodles! Need any more proof? lol I've always enjoyed standing out from the crowd. If someone tries to lump me in with the Abercrombie & Fitch kids (I'm not saying that if you wear this brand you're automatically someone I dislike; I'm talking about the people who choose their clothing by brand, because it's 'in'), I'll kick them in the shins. Likewise with nearly any fad. I stand my ground, and always will - whether it fits what society expects of me or not. More often not. :) I happen to think I'm more interesting that way. There's more to discover about a person who doesn't fit a mold, and when that includes intelligent, witty, and interesting conversation along the way... not to mention the mind-games you can play with each other that take flirting to a whole new level!... Interesting that you like the label 'dork,' since I understand that it is a derivative of the Yiddish word for 'penis.' Does the fact that I _have_ a 'dork' make me rad by association?

Just wondering.

And as someone else who still wears glasses in this age of contact lenses and radial kerototamy (sp?), I say that we should join together an revel in the geek/nerd culture! To paraphrase Marx, nerds of the world unite! You have nothing to lose but your brains!

OK, maybe we need a more catchy slogan, but you get the idea.

You can apply by answering the following questions: 1) What do you love about Mandie, and why? 2) How do you intend to prove that adoration? List specific examples. 3) What do you hope to get out of your association with this most awesome of chicks? Send your answers and a $5000 processing fee to *insert my address here* and then be patient as it takes weeks to sort through the thousands of applications received on a daily basis. :D

So, can you be a bit more specific about in what way your following is like a cult? Brainwashed members who give you all their possessions? Egomaniacal leader with a doomsday vision? Uninhibited orgies as a form of worship?

BTW, I really hope it's the last of those options...

Yeah, but 'president' sounds like a title that's way too uptight for this club...maybe something like Chief Yahoo! Ooops, that's been taken.

Roman

But of course!

All of the above. *grinning wickedly* And, y'know Roman, to me the fact that you have a 'dork' makes you ten thousand times more rad. lol

I consider myself a proud nerd/geek/dork. I've almost always been the smartest girl in the group and I used to feel that guys would never like me because of it.

Reading has always been my favorite activity and I have the reading glasses to attest to it. I routinely win trivia contests and now that I'm older and wiser I find it's a great way to meet guys.

This is my first post. I enjoy reading the stories. I have a very strong sex drive and hope to talk to like-minded guys.

For the record, I'm 35 and considered cute. :)

1) That you are expressive, confident, wear glasses, and (have to say it) interested in women? 2) I will prove my adoration by reading historical erotica in my best imatation English accent and writing sonnets to your beauty. I will caressingly massage your body then bathe you in very hot water. Afterwards, I will carry to a bed of rose petals. I will then lightly caress your body using my fingertips and tongue. Then I will perform the Oriental razor massage, where I adoringly shave your body for you. When finished, I shall caress and worship your form. 3) Only your acknoledgement, adoration, and an occassional invitation to join you and another woman  As for the fee, can I work it off?

:catroar:  :rose:

What's this? You prefer your women blind? Kinda shushpishoush, if you ask me... (Don't ask me and it won't be suspicious.) :D Unfortunately, I don't wear my glasses just to be cute (although I must say... I look quite adorab- ok, sorry, I'll stop while I'm ahead), I wear them because without them I am blind as... well, something really blind. But at least I get to be cute while being blind, right?

Mmm... I don't know how you knew that accents are my weakness, but I love it! And you can work the fee off... under one condition. You do toilets, right? :D

1) EVERYTHING!

Do I do toilets? I have to admit I just don't have the girth! But hey, if that is what my leader demands....:D

Hallelujah!

I'm so happy to see this thread. Intelligence is easily my biggest turn on, with a sharp wit second. If we get more women like Mandie and Mama posting here, this will quickly become my favorite thread!

Just for the record, I was a nerd myself in school. But I've noticed that the nerds grew into the most interesting and appealing adults. They always told us it would happen, but I never believed it!

Hey! The fact that Mama and I (and DevilDoll and all the other fun girlies on this thread) have posted here should've been enough to make this your favorite! ;) You sound interesting, Hurricane. Nice ta have ya. (It prob'ly would be nice ta have ya! lol) You'd better stick around and keep posting, and same goes for the rest of you nerdy-chick-lovers. I get bored with most of the other guys on here. :catroar:

Mandie

P.S. Hi to all you other people who've recently posted that I've never said hi to! Thanx for making me feel so welcome, you guys!

Get used to it, mister. I tend to be a bit demanding. But don't worry, you'll love your other duties...

Also, you might want to stock up on grapes and the like, as I'll be requiring lots of pampering an' stuff. :D

I've recently come to celebrate my nerdy side and have decided that the one type of woman I would like to meet and have never done so, is a sci-fi girl. Seems like they'd be an awful lot of fun! Just don't know where to start.

"Listen Ritchie, da Fonz says nerdy girls are cool! And hey, if you see my pants bring them by Arnolds. Ayyyyyyyyyyy."

What Fonzie was really saying was,
"Cunningham, you mean to tell me that after I jump this shark, I'll be even cooler?"

Hey guys-

There are some of us women out here who are nerds / geeks and quite proud of it. I find I get a lot of attention from my classmates in my computer classes (I'm a programming major) because I am just as much of a geek as they are (if not more) and quite approachable. I have to stick with the geeks to find people who want to talk about things I find interesting, like computers, graphic novels, forensic science, string theory, exotic infectious diseases, literature, etc.

Rest assured, we exisit.

Quite right. I expect a lot of girls want to let their minds expand, but still feel that it is difficult to be feminine and to a job like a computer scientist, engineer, etc. Good luck to you. Chaos rules.

Another question: do you like to wear sexy underwear while you talk about string theory? Can you be hot and intellectual simultaneously?
