Another that depends on version. If we're staying in the SSFT vein then I am staying with Mr. Tiger Muppet Cut for brutality. :D Please don't pick any of the Capcom VS games. *shudder*

I'm a large fan of the Alpha games and the rivals schools spinoff (RS is probubly my favorite fighting game of all time, either the original or the sequal). Keep me away from the Vs games, I'm not more of a fan of them then you are. GIve me Sakura any day of the week and I'll kick some serious ass ^_~

Only good thing about Vs games.... Dark Sakura and her attacks.

SFA3 and SSFT are definitely the SF games that are in close with each other as my fave. SSFT for the nostalgic sake I would say and SFA3 for it's superiority over the others. I am also a huge fan of RS as well. Although, if we are playing the RS games I call dibs on "Momo". I rule with her. :D

I've liked many of the more obscure or less played fighting games for a very long time like Eretzvaju, Street Fighter EX series (wish they were faster paced), Tobal series, Fighting Vipers series, Last Bronx series, Fighters Megamix, Samurai Spirits series, Eternal Champions series, and Hiryu-No-Ken series for example.

No problems, I grab Sakura, Hinata, and Akira. ^_~

I wasn't a large fan of EX, on the other hand I loved Fighting Vipers and Fighters Megamix. Eternal Champions was ok, not a huge fan. Never plaed Eretzvaju or Kiryu-No-Ken (though I have heard of KNK). Care to explain what Eretzvaju is?

Eretzvaju (Evil Zone in the US) is a very simple, but fun fighting game that has the claim to fame IMO of being the most cinematic fighting game ever. Certain moves cause really good camera angles and action sequences, the music is above average j-pop, and the artwork is top-notch AIC anime work (Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki, El Hazard, etc.) so it is just a sweet game. If you can find it cheap I highly recommend picking it up. Last time I saw it at EB it was about $10 for the Playstation One.

How did you little Oscar party turn out? All you hope for and more?

I personaly didn't even watch them, as I don't give a bent penny about who wins or looses, but I did hear that LOTR took all 11 they were nominated for, so I guess that's kinda cool.

Most people don't care who wins or whatever either, but I'm a huge movie geek (especially artsy movies), so it kind of comes with the job description.

The Oscar party wasn't what I would have hoped, but it was good nonetheless. Two people who were originally going to come weren't able to make it, due to studying for exams that were on Monday. But my dear roomie stayed and watched, as did my two friends Marj and Sarah. We laughed together, oggled together, and swooned at every Return of the King clip together. Except my roomie...she hasn't see Return of the King yet! That's when we decided that we'd bind and gag her if we had to, if it was the only way to get her to see the movie this weekend. I think I ended up with 15 correct predictions out of 24, which isn't bad...62.5 is a passing grade. :D I should have known that LotR would have won everything it was nominated for, though...I mean, I was about time it got its due!

As long as your friend has seen the first two LOTR movies, then she only needs to be bound and gagged. If she hasen't then she needs to be bound, gagged, and be subject to many orgasims from a vibrator :). But you're right she does need to see that movie as it TOTALLY kics ass. I just wish it would come out of theatres, so it could finally be released on DVD. At this rate we may be able to get it by x-mas '05 *LOL*.

Sorry your party wasen't all it hoped for. Next time you'll have to use some false advertising or something to get people to come over and make it a bash. But I'm glad you had fun all the same.

I mainly need to find friends who are as obsessed with movies as I am.

And I was actually thinking of getting my roomie a small vibe as an end-of-the-year gift. I don't know if she masturbates...she probably knows that I do. It would sort of be a half joke, half serious gift. I think all women should have at least one vibe. :D Speaking of vibes...I wonder if I should get a third one...

You're just saying that. :p

Aww, geez, now I'm going to go through the day with the Return of the King soundtrack stuck in my head. I do have to pay a price to waking up to it every morning (but it's so much better than a shrieking buzzer or an annoying radio DJ). :)

More vibrators are always a good idea :). So are pictures of you using said vibrators :D.

Our radio DJ's are actuially pretty interesting here, but I still find that the only way to get my lazy arse out of bed is to have a really annoying buzzer, all the way on the other side of the room, so that I actuially have to get up.

Congrats on getting 1000+ posts. Keep up the good work :):rose::kiss:

My buzzer on my radio gave me a heart attack everytime I woke up, so I decided it wasn't a good thing to die at 18 from an alarm clock. The radio DJs may be fine here, but since I had it programmed to the rock station, they were always too excited in the morning. Besides, waking up to those beautiful strings weeping is a wonderful way to wake up.

Thanks about the 1000 posts. :) Now Zerg is catching up really fast...the crazy man has over 700...it took me 3 months to get the that, it took him 1.

True. Morning DJ's can be to perky for their own damn good sometimes.

I have to say that I have never actuially heard the LOTR soundtracks, with the exception of while watching the movie(s). I never was much of a soundtrack kind of person.

Happy hump day

Hump days are fun...does that mean that I get to rub up against someone today?

The part of the soundtrack I have stuck in my head is basically the main theme of the entire movie. In the opening scene of RotK, the strings play this melancholy tune. You can definitely hear it when Smeagol's friend finds the ring at the bottom of the lake. A beautiful piece of music, I tell you. Howard Shore definitely deserves both Oscars he won for Original Score. I can't wait to hear more of his work in the future.
