Oh ok I might try that one then, I just happend upon this one first. >.<

All I know about star composition is that the are made up mostly of Hydrogen, with other trace elements, which differ from star to star. It's been a very long time since I've taken Astronomy.

Welcome brother.

*Ahem*
As for the star bit, all fascetiousness aside...

A star begins as a cluster of gas, much like a small nebula.
The gas accumulates, and as it gains mass, its gravity well strenghtens.
The gravity increases, pulling the gas in tighter, increasing the density and temperature.
Pop! The protostar reaches an appropriate mass and temperature, and nuclear fusion begins.
All the happy hydrogen begins bonding, releasing more energy, increasing the heat, causing more hydrogen to bond. So on, and so forth.

 Sorry, just rambling.

It's 4 am, do you know where your brain is?

Now how am I supposed to use this question to test future nerds now that you have given the answer?

Think!

Hey I'm posting on here

Well. My computer is officially a toaster as of this moment. So I would read and post effectively, and go through it all and read the thread. But really I just want to talk about a movie not out yet.

I work for a video store. I do other things but I work for a chain of vid stores. There's some Geek Cred.

And I just watched a movie. Called Stay Alive.

I'm gonna tell the truth. if you have an ounce of gamer cred. See the movie. It's quite good. It's not well acted. But the majority of people who are gamers in the movie. Look like gamers. Except the main character. It even has Frankie Muniz. Being non-annoying. It has a few props to be given for it's gamer references. And while the game play looks like a rip from House of the dead and Gauntlet. The game does look cool. And all in all, it's a creepy but cool movie.

The ending is rushed, and there are a few NAER moments. (NAER No Adequately Explained Reason.) But it was enjoyable. The gamer references are plentiful. And it doesn't bash us.

And it has the Konami Code.

They release it here on the 19th so I have to wait. I went in and checked.
I want to rent it, thanks for the review!

*Shrug*

Ask questions about D20's, Aggro, trinomial factoring, warp physics, or any other myriad elitist subjects! Pick one, and run with it!

:p I doubt football will be quite esoteric enough for us however...

It's similar to FF10's 'Blitzball', but without the water. *nods knowingly* Or so I've heard at least :D

I prefer Blood Bowl! And major points and smooches to anyone who knows this game.

*Twitch, gurgle*

Speak not of the travesty...
ARskc!

Let's ignore the basic static coefficient of friction, respiration, and the idea of swimming with lederhosen...

Why the fuck is the ball bumpy?
And how the hell does a society that fervantly fears technology excuse that level of technology!?
I mean, hell... that is an awful lot of very heavy water... Being held, precariously close to thousands of spectators, by some ridiculously strong force field thingy.

And they're just ok with it...

*Shrug*
I'm fine and dandy, Tol.
How bout your self?

Vague recollections...
It was a table top game; Orcs, dwarfs and the like.
Sorta like foot ball.

 Am I in the ball park?

I personaly couldn't stand Bliztball either.. I wasn't very good at it, and I didn't care enough to get better. I didn't get Wakka's special moves.. I just didn't use Wakka instead :p

Oh, I'm doin' great actually :) Thanks

I actually enjoyed the premise of the game, all believability aside.
All you needed was a passing guado. Get the ball to him, and then swim up to, but not encounter every other enemy team member. They'll chase you, but can't catch the speedy little bastard. No defenders left; pass, shoot, score.

:D I'd actually enjoy playing a multiplayer version of blitzball.
 They'd just need some Jon Madden-esque fool to point out the obvious.

There were certain Al Bhed, Like Brother who were really fast too. Then again you could just pass it to tidus and have him shoot the lights out. You know your teams good when they start scoring ten goals a game.

As a side note, I had to restart the game because my memory cards were erased by that stupid holiday demo disc bug, and I actually won both of the story driven games! Ok, so you're forced to win the first one, but not the second, and we won! I couldn't believe it.

Oh, well I won the story driven ones.. but after that, I didn't bother.
