I'm almost done playing through the Xenosaga series. I had Episodes 1 & 2 sitting in my folder, and didn't play them forever, then at the start of the summer I picked them up and OMFG I could not put them down. Recently rented Episode 3 and got to the very last chapter, but couldn't finish it before it was due. I'm gonna have to wait until my next paycheck in a couple months before I can get it and beat it. Argh

Ok, this warrants some explanation. Ok, first of all at my job I only get paid once a month. Second it's "Work study," meaning I can only work while school is in session. Thus I wont be able to start my job until I start back at school, which isn't until the 27th. Our time cards are due on the last day of the working period, and we get paid on or around the 15th. So the earliest check I'll be able to get is on or around October 15th. However, I'll only have three days to work, and I'll only have a few hours to give for that period of time. Therefore my first check will be too small, so I'll have to wait until my next check comes in mid November. I get financial aid, but that goes straight into books, food and other expenses. Hence why I have to wait two months. Of course my birthday is on the 12th of November, so I could just ask my parents to get it for me, but then I run the risk of them giving it to me for Christmas in stead, which would tack on another month+ to the wait. I just have to decide if it's worth it for me to risk waiting that long. You have no idea how bad I want this game. >.<

Leery. There are things I like about it and things I don't. First of all, the Original Optimus Prime is back, which is reason enough for me to go and see it. Ok, I admit, I'd have gone to see it no matter what. Anyways, if you've seen the list of Transformers in the movie then you'll understand why I'm a bit upset about it. The Autobot side is ok, pretty much what you'd expect. However I'm very surprised with the Decepticon side. No Soundwave??? And yet they have Franzy, who was one of his cassettes, and some really weird inclusions. Only one of the six Constructicons? Scorponok? And who the heck is Black Out?

Have you seen the photos of some of the transformers in the movie. I don't know if they're real or not, or if that's what they're going to look like, but they're WEIRD! Personally I would have loved to have seen the original Transformers as they originally were. You know, Bumblebee as a Volkswagon beetle, and not a Camaro. A Camaro? WTF? Finally, I think the movie is going to focus much more on the humans than the actual Transformers themselves. I'd be upset if this happens. And Shia Lebeouf (sp?) is Spike Witwickey. The kid from Even Stevens...

Then there's the trailer. What did that have to do with anything? I know they're being secretive, but come on. Beware Michael Bay, we Transfans are watching you...

I agree with you pretty much completely. When I first heard another big screen movie was coming I was thrilled. Then they tacked on the words live action and my heart immediately fell. I'm not sure there is any way they can convince me thismovie will be as good as the series I used to watch.

On the plus side though with such low expectations something is bound to impress me.

Oh, it definitely wont be as good as the original series, but then again, it can't be any worse than the new stuff they've been putting on these days. *crosses fingers*

I have every episode on DVD, and I plan to get the special 2-disc edition of the movie when it comes out in November. I watch them all the time.

Aww thank you very much. I'm very much a cat person too. Not a big fan of dogs, kinda scared of 'em too. Anyway, she's my pretty kitty princess. She can be ornery though. When she was little she was pretty mean to everyone except me and one of my younger sisters. The vet actually told us that she was the meanest cat he'd ever dealt with. She's not quite as...um...spunky as she used to be though. She kind of just hides away and sleeps all the time these days. Ever since we got our other cat Reggie.
