I was looking more of a general overview of how a star functions, but if you can explain how one determines the composition of a star I shall accept that, too.

All I know about star composition is that the are made up mostly of Hydrogen, with other trace elements, which differ from star to star. It's been a very long time since I've taken Astronomy.

I used to watch David the Gnome all the time. Ok, Gnome is the Earth elemental for several video games, including Secret of Mana, which is in my top 10 games of all time list. They tend to litter front and back lawns too, and are often targets for local youths vandalism pranks. Ok?

It would take me a while to develop a cookie heirarchy. Chocolate chip cookies are a classic. Peanut butter cookies and sugar cookies are good. I even like oatmeal raisin. Macadamia nut cookies might take the #2 spot, right below chocolate chip. They are indeed damn good.
