Sounds Fine. Wait. Do we have to do everything Backwards, Niobe.

Cause Cum rushing in would suck royally.

B&N, greatest place in the world.

Where else can you read a book for free, drink overpriced coffee, and play AOE2 online with friends?

Yeah, the thing is, the Hoka books are a series of short stories. Each book is a compilation, and they overlap from book to book. I'm still planning to get the other Hoka books though. Especialy with Hoka Hoka Hoka leaving it open to interpretation as to just how naive the Hokas really are. :D

That skein isn't going to untangle itself! Forward for you would be backward for me.

Well that means you don't have to clean it off then. IF you're going backwards. Ok now I'm confused.

Hell woman. Now I don't even want to try it.

Though I'm sure Pussy licking in revers would be the most incredible Multiple Orgass I'd make a woman experience. Let's do that part.

Well, you could go to the library at my old university, which had an attatched coffee shop and wi-fi access. Can't say the coffee was overpriced though, unless you decided to get one of the big cups instead of the small cups (they all had unlimited refills)

Tell ya what though, I was pissed when they eliminated the smallest size coffee cups (which cost 92 cents each, coming out to exactly a dollar with sales tax... so convenient!). I loved being able to buy a coffee by grabbing the cup and tossing the cashier a dollar coin. Now I have to fumble with loose change.

Damn you, capitalism! Ah well...

(Aside: I just noticed I'm now "experienced"...woo-hoo! When do I get an av?)

Goodnight all...first time I actually had an extended series of posts on here, thanks to all who "talked" with me. Hope to see you all again soon.

To curb the thread hijacking... Geek talk!

I miss G4 and the cool shows that were on there an Tech TV before they merged.

I know!

What in the frell were they thinking with that damn merge? I guess all the anime nerds are happier, but we lost so many fine shows that were actually useful.

Everything now is just a "cluster fuck".

Welcome to the thread. Good to have another "southerner" about :)

Wish I had work.

I have to go back to work soon, I'm dreading and looking forward to it with about the same degree of enthusiasm/trepidation. what will be nice is being able to socialize with co-workers again.

Devil in the White City was very good.

The author has a new book out this fall. Another true crime story, except this time Marconi is involved. Definitely buying that one.

I can quote most of the Monty Python movies and skits released in the US.

I have collectors editions (personally autographed) of all the Evil Dead movies.

I have read all 5 books of Douglas Adams stellar trilogy, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and even Salmon of Doubt for flavor. I also rather loved Starship Titanic and his Dirk Gently books.

I am female AND play Halo! XBox live scared me though, I got yelled at too much.

I do part time web design and graphics work and love my computer.

Robert Asprin makes me giggle, Piers Anthony (Incarnations and Apprentice Adept series) makes me wish I could write better.

I am a outed nerd among my friends for comics, movies, books and music.

How many people do you know that have all of both Meatloaf's albums and Alan Parsons Project? :catroar:

Gah. Looks like I'll have to join the competition for your affections.

*readies whiffle ball bat*

Everyone can get a job, but me.

If something doesn't break soon...well, I guess there are worse things than working the fast food line.

Today was my last "day" (more like 2 hours) at my summer job. They loved me there. I got cookies. To quote James Brown, I feel good.

the only thing worse than working at a mcdonalds is working at a time hortons during a rush lol. I told myself after working as a timmy ho that I'd never work at another fast food joint even if it meant going hungry, luckily it won't come to that anymore..

now I just come home greasy and smelling like diesel
