Today was my last "day" (more like 2 hours) at my summer job. They loved me there. I got cookies. To quote James Brown, I feel good.

*sniff* quit talking about the end of summer, it's so depressing. I haven't even gone swimming in like a month and a half..

I haven't swam since... I can't remember. It's not really my thing. Besides, there's still a couple good weeks left. You can at least pretend that the second half of September is summer or something.

Mmm. Cookies.

They aren't the greatest I've had, despite being from a local bakery - not chewy enough for my liking. But there's no such thing as a bad cookie and it was really nice of them to do. They're the shit. *sees title of thread* I mean, they r0x0r.

Indeed.

I know!

What in the frell were they thinking with that damn merge? I guess all the anime nerds are happier, but we lost so many fine shows that were actually useful.

Everything now is just a "cluster fuck".

Welcome to the thread. Good to have another "southerner" about :)

Frell...

I miss my FarScape, sure having them on SG1 is cool, but it's no FarScape! STill...I'm not sure there is a part of Ben Browder I wouldn't lick. I'm infatuated.

Thanks for the welcome and I'm only a transplanted southerner, hope that's still ok.

Gah. Looks like I'll have to join the competition for your affections.

*readies whiffle ball bat*

MmmMMmm Something about a man with a plastic bat.

Be hot if you hum the Star Trek fight music while brandishing it!

I miss it, too :)

It's on my list of DVDs to buy.

SG-1 is, and has been, my favorite Sci-FI show for 10 years. The first seaosn on showtime had me going over to my friends house to watch it because we didn't have Showtime :D

Being a transplanted is quite alright. As long as you got here as fast as you could ;)

There was fight music? All I ever can remember about a Star Trek action scene is sparks flying and some dude falling over a balcony.

That and because of YTMND, "Star Trek fight music" makes me think of http://epicgeordi.ytmnd.com/

I have the first two seasons, expensive show to collect. All three seasons of Lois & Clark together were cheaper then one season of Farscape. And as the 200th episode of SG1 not grand? Absolute silliness there. Not as great as the eps Ben wrote for FarScape, but still cheeky and fun.

Ummm yes, as soon as I was legally able to move I headed down here.

Come on! The Kirk fight music. Best displayed in the Kirk vs Spock fight.

Classic stuff.

Yes. 120 bucks for a full season can net you all kinds of fun dvds. One reason I have not purchased them. The Starburst editions were cheaper, but there were some problems with the dvds 18 not working properly.

I own all the Stargate SG-1 seasons on DVD. I also have Atlantis. Maybe we can work out some kind of loan/trade system

I was actually a bit disappointed with the 200th Episode. It was cute, but not as cute as the 100th episode :)

Legal is good

Yaknow, we haven't seen pictures of you in a swim suit. You and the hubby should go find a swimming pool and get some pics :D

For the record, Chronicle Tenko, I don't have expertise at photography :p I'm a beginner that gets some lucky shots. If I had expertise all my photos would be technically flawless, even if they were devoid of visually intriguing aspects... Definitely no expertise.. heh.. you do not want to see the other 2000 or so pictures I have kicking around. They suck! :)

Far more than me. That you have taken 200 pictures gives you an expertise in the field I can't even hope to compare to.
