Finally took the time to respond to an RP collaboration. Writing and Pandora is a good way to spend some time.

I think Pandora is the only way I survived writing papers for school. I love listening to movie/tv scores when I write so I do things like "Avatar score" or John Williams and pandora gives me awesome music haha

That's one way to inspire an A!

Early shift tomorrow and then GM'ing a Star Wars RPG for the evening.

oh fun! Love me some Star Wars but never got into RPGing.

Definitely made paper-writing feel more epic haha Plus you don't have those pesky lyrics making you want to sing along. Although I dare you not to hum along to instrumental pieces you start to memorize. I've listened to some scores so many times that they REALLY stick out during re-watching of things like Avatar, Firefly, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, and (of course) Star Wars.

RPG'ing is a lot of fun if you have some great people to play with. I have some really good friends to play with, and I've worked a lot harder on my GMing skills, improving them and whatnot, so it should be a lot of fun.

I rarely listen to soundtracks on their own. I should try that. I do love Metallica's version of the Vader's Imperial March :)

Aww that's too bad, I love my puppy, she rocks :)

I'm quite fond of your puppies as well.

The people definitely make it. I was in a d20 Star Wars game that lasted a year and a half at least. You really get into the interactions and relationships between the characters. Just hard to find a group that roleplays more than they shoot the shit around the table hehe.

Heya Rune, good to see an old face on here every now and then.

As far as P&P goes, to me I have as much fun shooting the shit at the table as playing. It's rare that all my friends are in one spot anymore so we use gaming as a good excuse to get together and catch up and have some fun while we're at it.

As an even more nerdy side note, I just got home from playing in the Magic: The Gathering Grand Prix event in Nashville. I didn't make the 164 player cut for day two, but I did alright considering there was over 1600 players.

Met lots of old aquaintences, spent a lot of money, played enough Magic to drown in the nerdiness and had fun, all in all a good weekend.

ha ha, magic, havent played that in about ten years..
one of my friends round these parts runs some d&d every once in a while

I miss playing RPGs and gaming in general. Since I started school a few years ago I just haven't had the time.

Heya niv :)

That's cool. I used to play some magic. Then once WoW TCG came out I got into that. Spent way too much money, but had a blast at events and tourneys. Got a kick out of booster drafts :)

I disagree. The Joker was a corny character, a jester, a dunce. I think it's the duality between playing childrens games and being such a heinous criminal that is supposed to strike the chord with the audience. Not just the fact that he's insane.

But I'm biased, I've always liked Keaton/Nicholson best. But they are all different incarnations, it's interesting to see what people do with them.

i think he definitely started out as a corny character, but as time has gone different actors and writers have put their own spins on him and made him more evil, sadistic, etc which i think is pretty cool.

Morning my little geeklings

pen!

good morning, how are you?
