you've got to remember that the formats that they were acting in are geared towards different audiences so i don't think you can penalize Ledger because he didn't use flowers that squirted toxins or a handshake buzzer. that stuff is good for cartoons but if it was in the movie it would have looked ridiculous.

and no sense of humor? did you see the scene where he makes the pencil disappear? that was fucking hilarious!

I disagree. The Joker was a corny character, a jester, a dunce. I think it's the duality between playing childrens games and being such a heinous criminal that is supposed to strike the chord with the audience. Not just the fact that he's insane.

But I'm biased, I've always liked Keaton/Nicholson best. But they are all different incarnations, it's interesting to see what people do with them.
 
Got my first full shift of computer sales tomorrow, and I'm still waiting on my other job to tell me when I get to hang out with old people. I met two of the guys I'm going to be drinking and playing crib with, haha. Nice guys.

Bored as heck, killing time til puppy's bed is dry so I can order food and put her away so I can eat.
