So playing around on eHarmony, found another WoW player, he responded to my initial contact, but no profile pic. I am hoping it's just cause maybe he has a really new profile. Not that it's all about the looks or anything, but not gonna lie and say it doesn't factor into things either.

Eharmony has a lot of people who sign up for the free weekend and never come back and most don't post their pictures. I did it for 3 years in 3 cities and found that most people who actually paid for it were in general decent, I think it's because it's so expensive that the players won't pay for it. Although I've heard from the women i dated their experience was a bunch of men who couldn't hold together a conversation, which I guess makes me like a god on there.

internet dating has got to be one of the most frustrating things ever. wanna know how bad it's going for me? if a girl actually replied with what that one girl said to you i'd be thrilled.

over the past year or so that i've been on the site i've been on 3 or 4 dates and they were all one and done. a majority of my messages either don't get replied to or are deleted before even being read (that really pisses me off)

See, that's the HUGE thing. If I see a profile where a guy can't even bother with capitalizing I and tossing in a period or two, *poof* deleted. Also if they put next to no explanations into their page or give one word answers, *poof* to them too.

I look at it this way, if it isn't the way I'd hold a normal converstation or it's something I would be embarassed to just walk up and say to someone then it needs to be fixed.

Here's a prime example, Question: Name one thing your passionate about. His answer? "basketball, drumming, concerts, fishing, water and snow skiing, comedies, laughing, Dallas Cowboys"

If naming one thing you love with a reason as to why is too hard for you, how the fuck am I going to bitch about computer tech when I come home after a day at work? lol

I know what you mean. Anybody I message on one of those sites has to have at least a decent profile, most things filled out in full sentences. I think anyone with decent intelligence, someone who I'll like, would actually fill things in.

Edit: For comparison, this is my answer to that question: "Films and writing. It's not only something I'm good at and getting opportunities at, it's something I really enjoy doing."

Ive met two girls throgh lit.

The first was great and we chatted a lot, she was in the US and I the UK. I actually met here a few times and it was great but i didnt feel comftible talking sometimes. still text each other now though.

The 2nd was more local but still a drive. That was going ok but she actually highligheted my cofidence + communication problems and decided that working all the time was better than having me as a boy friend.

As for now, well Im actually now focusing on self happyness and cofidence. I'm not desprialy seaking a new relationship, rather me being content with myself, once i reach that I think i will be able to handle myself much better in future endevours, whatever they be.

To that end ive kinda givern up on the "guy seaking" posts because id far rather use forums like this as a way of talking to likeminded and intrested people than repeat the cycle again.

DOW2 is great, but I like the first one a little better.

I prefer the second, I think it suits warhammer better, the first one was too much bas building for 40k
