Spins...

Maybe more would show up if they didn't think you were taken by the pretty boy? :)

I wish that was the problem. I just don't stay put long enough in one place. Like now, I post as I'm traveling. That stuff above was kinda a dare from my cousin as we drank and she read some of the stories... LOL. Your all safe she only reads German, Latin and italian, I think...? I told her I had been wanting to visit this thread but had not made it yet. The above conversation was real and she dare me to post it, so I did... *Smirk* Now I'm catching the fallout... I apologize if it offense... It was meant as a laugh and nothing more.

Ciao, Obsequium
Hey, you travel, right? Do you think French Nunneries have bidgéts? *That's where I'll be later this week, so just wondering...*grinning* Made you laugh though... I really am heading that way later this week.

Good morning, boys and girls!

Heh. No, I wasn't sayng the Casimir effect is based on quantum mechanics (by that I mean deriving from quantum mechanical theory), I just wasn't familiar with what you posted besides the Casimir effect and so I assumed the rest was from more advanced/recent quantum mechanical theory which I haven't taken a look at yet.

I'm basically a layperson with some high school/self-training in physics. I study the general theory rather than math because it makes my sci-fi writing seem much more grounded in reality. Well, the stuff I don't intend to be fantastic and stretch the bounds of reality, anyway.

Calm down... It was all in fun, I come to these threads to get away from number, symbols and theories. I just started my sabbatical from this tripe... Just bleeding the residue out... "more grounded in reality"... *grinning* Like what I do, I can see that. Anything posted that you've written?

But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Don't worry, I'm taking it all in good humour. Not mad or serious, really. It just kinda posts that way, I suppose. Mostly indication of my mood is tone of voice, which doesn't come out in posts.

I haven't posted anything here, honestly. Most of my material is sitting on my hard drive, although within about a year I'm planning on publishing my first short story and hopefully a novel as well. The only thing I've posted here is a hilariously bad poem that amused me. I'm also finishing up a TV pilot script which I'm submitting to a contest in hopes of it eventually getting turned into a TV show.

I'd offer, but I know little about the iPad. I know tons about Windows, little about Apple.

They're daemons they can be both :D but I haven't played fantasy since the new edition was released I can't afford to get the new book just yet, but I know someone who wants to buy it for me

Nah, I was wondering specifically about the picture and avatar. Seems like a fantasy Warhammer pic. I actually know a few things about the Warhammer universe, heh.

It could be either, that's what I like about them, only the daemon prince (and the soul grinder ofcourse) has any bias towards one or the other. That's what I love about the daemons.

Good luck with all that.:rose:

I think if your clever you could probberbly use deamons for moth systems, some sort of base swapping maybe.

GW is so expensive these days :(

Thanks...

...for the offer. I'll find someone, somewhere to help... ;). It's just so much easier to carry and the 3G, I can get on the net from almost anywhere I go. It does not like tunnels and right now that's all there is... It's almost 6pm here and I'm starving...

Yes...

Thank you. If you'd like to read some, I'm sure I could send you a bit. Same goes for anyone else here.

..but first I have to know what genres of sic-fi? I'm doing an outline for a publisher here and I don't read anything right now about dragons, wizard... Any thing to do with Norse Mythologies, Tolkien eez or Beowulf. Which is funny since I have the book memorized... LOL... But I'd rather my stuff be mine and not further influenced by others writings. Been reading Alice in Wonderland, Mark Twain Bio and Chaucer. I know, pathetic isn't it. Head always down, eyes in a book or computer screen... LOL... Thank God for the Internet or I'd have no social skills...

Ah. The novel I'm writing is a space opera based in an area of space that is highly unlikely (thus I've had it created by a highly advanced civilization). The story is based around a salvage crew salvaging an ancient derelict battlecruiser that still has a working AI. There are no dragons, wizard, or anything like magic or the force. There are a few things that are unlikely (like FTL) but I've thrown those in for story purposes and feel, which I feel takes precedence over hard science (although I try to stick to physics as much as possible).

Edit: The script I'm working on, for anyone interested, is something of a radically changed adaptation of the old SNES games Earthbound (Mother 2 in Japan).
