I'm not familiar with a lot of the newer and especially the US stuff, but I love Star Wars and Harry Potter. Watched the first Harry Potter film the other day - I need to watch all 6 before the 7th film comes out over here

Guess I have to agree with spins on nerdiness how much of one you are is all perspective, others and your own, I prefer the geek label to nerd myself never had the glasses but never did get the hottest girls in school. But being in the um there were no cheerleaders or American football or basketball jocks.

Holy Cow, it's hard to believe it's been two weeks since I logged into WoW. I hope I remember how to play >< But Vegas was totally worth it, now to keep my fingers crossed for this Ulduar run.

Hello all, I am a geek, and some of my favourite past times are playing warhammer and D&D.

As one of you may know, I love Alan Tudyk, Wash from Firefly and Aplha from Dollhouse.

I also picked up Bioshock 2 the other day and just finished playing it, it was difficult, so I liked that it challenged me; but the ending was so bittersweet that I almost cried

I just picked up Labyrinth last year. No one is cooler than David Bowie in this movie.... Wasn't that one of Jennifer Connelly's first movies?

I'm proud of my nerd-dom, which has the geeky spin on it. I'm a network engineer at my day job. But that isn't what usually outs me....

I like Dr Who and my kids and I all dress up as either Indiana Jones, or Hogwarts students. Halloween was a HP marathon at my house. and I play all sorts of board games... ok, maybe I'm more geek than nerd.. I'm also a redophile

Star Wars was the first movie I saw in a theater... partly due to the time it came out.. but also because I grew up way out in the country and going to a movie theater was something of a drive. On TV, I'm much more of a BSG fan that star wars though... I've met most of the cast from BSG.

I love the old Dr. Who shows as a local station showed them in reruns when I was a kid. I have seen a few of the newer series but don't have Space network which carries them in Canada in reruns. CBC also runs them but I seem to miss them. I am older so more of a classic Star Trek fan and all the Gerry Anderson shows, Thunderbirds, UFO and Space 1999. There are lots of others i like too. Also love Dark Shadows. Now my daughter loves the newer vampire stores of Twilight and Vampire Diaries. Keep it in the family.

WIN Firefly will always be the epitome of fandom for me with it being such a huge fan base for a show that was canceled years ago. Love it! I think I need to watch a little tonight haha

Joss is my God. I follow him to the ends of the Earth and when he says he likes something, I watch it (BSG, Veronica Mars, etc) and get so excited when he guest directs (The Office, Glee...). I haven't really watched Castle but I need to - I love fillion! I did, however, see the clip of the Firefly shout out and seeing Captain Tightpants again was fantastic!!!!

What character? Caleb?!?!? haha Fillion was such a fantastic villain - definitely the scariest (and most realistic) of all the Buffy villains.

Depends on what half! I'm definitely more into movie/tv/fandom nerds than video game nerds because we'd have more to talk about haha (hopefully I don't get slammed for making the distinctions lol)

ETA: someone's sexual orientation is irrelevant to me as long as they find me attractive and they don't hate people lol

I just crave knowledge about everything, so while I'm mainly into movies-music-books, I can also talk about Diablo LoD (sorry people, the new games just can't compare)
