I just love the idea that hurting animals is worse than hurting humen...

Animals can't consent or ask to be hurt. Humans can ask, consent, and get off on it. Now if you find a bunch of pets spanking each other and getting off on it then I'll concede that maybe hurting them isn't as bad as consentually hurting a person.

There is a weird thought process where people do see horrible things happening to animals worse than horrible things happening to humans. And I mean in non-consentual ways. One of my favorite authors talks about how he can kill a baby in a scene and won't hear a peep about it. But, if he kills a dog or cat in the same book everyone will write saying how uncalled for it was. Or, how they had a hard time somaching it. Very weird in my opinion.

That's exactly the point I would make. Though science has revealed many more animals have sex for pleasure than we previously thought we don't have a definitive way to communicate with them for them to consent to fucking or being fucked by a human.

But I'm not going to talk anymore about this because it is getting dangerously close to no no territory for the LIT rules.
