Watching some zombie TV ... what would you guys do with out the internet or all the electronic gizmos??
This is wat really scares me, haha.
I have no problem with the killing zombie stuff.

Board Games, Card Games, and Table Top RPGs.

Monty Python Fluxx must be hilarious!

I like making & stringing sentences using the Keepers.
Example: I Dream of Chocolate Milk on the Sun

I love all the variations of Fluxx. I have Zombie Fluxx and just recently got Monty Python Fluxx.

Monty Python Fluxx sounds EPIC and AWESOME!!!

Like Lego Star Wars or Kingdom Hearts! Two great nerdities the go great together!

The few times I've played, I've been warned against Zombie Fluxx. I imagine you would want to get familiar with the regular version before you stepped up to the Zombie version.

That's awesome, I might have to check that out. I used to read manga, but became too expensive of a hobby once I bought my condo ><

My problem was that I don't have enough bookshelf space to keep all the mangas - I have five or six complete sets of mangas that are all very long. For example I have the complete Dragonball collection which is 42 books!

Anyway, the app is great, look for the one that has a yellow M at the beginning, since there are a few manga reader apps. It was the sole reason I bought a tablet, just so I could have a bigger screen to read on!

Magic: the Gathering is an expensive habit to support. But I have no room to speak whatsoever- I am a known Transformer collector. The prices keep rising

Hi. I'm new.

I started a thread and was shortly after referred to here. I'll just copy and paste that thread here.

Here are the hobbies that qualify me to be a nerd:
Anime
Manga
Go/Baduk/Wei-xhi(whichever name you prefer)
Chess
WoW (if you don't know what this is, you're probably better off)
Sci-fi (it is sadly a dying genre)
360

I would normally include books. This being a site built around erotic text, that would make us all nerds in that regard.

It's great, there are cards that have you reciting Monty Python lines or singing songs, plus the Keepers and Creepers are interesting.

Yes, it is a match made in heaven which is why I knew I had to buy it when I saw it.

Zombie Fluxx isn't that different from regular Fluxx. The biggest difference is it introduces the Creeper cards and new mechanics regarding them. Since the rules are constantly changing with Fluxx I don't know that playing the original that much is going to help honestly.

I just like quadrupled my bookshelf space last Christmas so space isn't too big of an issue. But when a 900 page book and a 30 page manga cost the same I'd rather spend the money on a book. Nevermind the cost difference when you get into things like yaoi manga.

That could definitely persuade me into a tablet too.

I love MtG, just don't have enough friends that play anymore.

Yay... I guided this individual to the right place! Let us rejoice in the welcoming of another Nerd!*

*this is a continuation of an inside joke*

Major nerd here. I love Comics, Video games, old school Sci-Fi ( Jules Verne, Issac Assimov, Orson Wells ), movies.

I actually have a BSA in Media Arts and Animation, and I am working on my MFA in 3D animation and VFX

Greeting and Salutations to all fellow nerds

I love the Charolett's Web quotes we get as greetings, so appropriate :D

Welcome to the thread, make yourself at home.

who hear remembers the first Revenge of the Nerds film

"All Jocks think about is Sports... All Nerds think about is Sex."

Does this thread being on this site make this line seem true? I have wondered ever since I started joining here... *stroking goatee ponderously*

I take some time to make french onion soup from scratch and make cherries jubilee for dessert and I miss a newbie showing up.

Welcome to the thread, make yourself at home, have a cookie.

I have pondered that since I watched the movie, then I got older and did nothing but read about an research sex. Someday when I get to try it I hope to prove that quote correct.
