Nah, the blame is all on her for confusing me, it's just annoying. I hate having to be the one to initiate that kind of conversation though, it'd have been much nicer for her to tell me.

I have a friend I've known for 10 years, and she's never confused me, although sometimes I've questioned her judgement, but I've always understood her. So it's not all women. Just seems to be women I'm trying to date that are unfathomable.

sorry to hear things didn't work out with the chick, but always remember these lyrics from the fresh prince (aka wil smith)

Listen homeboys don't mean to bust your bubble
But girls of the world ain't nothing but trouble
So next time a girl gives you the play
Just remember my rhyme and get the hell away

Shame. This place is usually nice :D
It is! I didn't intend to imply otherwise. It's just that I'm not a gamer nerd and (at least back when I trolled her more often) that is the type that hangs here. Nothing wrong with that, just I didn't have much to contribute to the conversations.

I haven't been a serious gamer in like 8 years ;)

I haven't seen CS around in a while actually. She's awesome though.
Cool. The only game I ever really got into was Warcraft 2. :) I loved playing it networked head 2 head with my friends. lol!
I played Diablo II and got too addicted, so I stopped playing completely. Personally I prefer boardgames.

A friend recently introduced me to The Settlers of Catan. I've only played it a few times, and not very successfully, but it was a lot of fun. Very intriguing.

If you have Ubuntu/debian-based linux, you can get a free port of Settlers of Catan called "Pioneers". You can play friends/other people online/across the network, or you can just play the AI (which is overall not that bad, though it can't initiate domestic trade, and sometimes does some very stupid things). There's also a windows version, but you can only join a game being hosted by somebody on a linux machine.

I looooove that game :D:D:D:D:D:nana:
If you want to get really geeky, then there's even a space version of it (Starfarers of Catan)
