Need help with feminization/humiliation fetish

I hope this is appropriate for the BDSM board, but I didn't see a better place for it.

Here goes:

I have a partner who's told me that he's very into feminization and humiliation, and to be honest, I'm a little at a loss about what's best to do. We've gone shopping online for a garter belt and panties for him to wear, and we're going to work on shaving and learning to put on makeup.

I'd love to hear from anyone who's gone through this process about what they enjoyed, what pace they went at (obviously I'll be keeping an eye on his comfort level, but it'd be nice to have a baseline), or just any suggestions.
