question

i know this has probally been asked many times i have seen threads on the subject but dont feel like looking so i just wanted to know do i need a certain amount of posts to use an avatar and if so how many thanks :)

Once you hit 100 posts, yo can add an AV
 
Have some pics i would like to have made into av's

I have some pictures that are to big and i would like to have them set up for av's there are 5 altogether here is the first

I don't know how good it works as an avatar -- there's not enough contrast to make the tattoo stand out -- but here it is:

harold thanks for getting these done for me not sure how often i would change them but it's nice to have a choice when i do

This one makes a good avatar, too.

The other two just don't look right after shrinking, even if I tinker with brightness and contrast.

I like the shaved head one the best. The reflection of the monitor in your glasses is a neat touch.

Check out www.IrFanview.com (or several other download sites) for a freeware program that does a decent job of cropping and resizing. It's very easy to use and pretty versatile for all sorts of image management and manipulation.
