I though it would not matter to me, but it does.

Since I moved from my home state to New England, I don't have any friends here. Today is my birthday and I feel so lonely I want to cry.

I wish I had my very own knight in shining armor who could banish the dragon of the blues.

This sucks. :(

You don't need a knight in shining armor...you have us!!!!!! :)

Happy Birthday, Silverveil! I hope you have a wonderful birthday, sweetie! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I have misplaced my armor.:D

But I can still give you lots of hugggs and kisses, SV

Cassidy,
who doesn't like to see you sad.:(

Happy Birthday, SilverVeil!

It must be so difficult being "placed" in an area that doesn't yet include your friends. My darling is in a similar position, having had to live in a remote area to keep closer to his work duties, and I'm not sure if I will soon need to face the same situation (I really love NYC!!).

Here's the best I could do to find you your own "knight" for the day!:rose:

If not then happy birthday, we at Lit will think lewd thoughts of you!

well, there's nothing really shiny about these robes, but will a Jedi Knight do instead?

Happy Birthday, love!

Don't you know the rules, it's forbidden to be sad on your birthday. So smile!:D

That av is not a shiny knight ... but it is so wicked f'ing evil I love it.

It could be worse. I could be alone up here with no one at all. I just need to stop being all gloomy and go buy me some flowers. One's my cat will not decide is her appetizer and salad to go with her meal. :)

Great attitude. :) You are not alone. You have us. :)

Happy Birthday, Silver!

You know, I wasn't able to give any "spankings" yesterday, so now I've got two days to take care of, come one over, and get some later. ;)

or perhaps you'd prefer his son.

"With him ther was his sone, a yong squyer,
a lovyere and a lusty bacheler."

Happy Birthday.

Birthdays are not for the person who they seem to be for - you never seem any older than you did the day before anyway. Birthdays are to let others celebrate you, to let them express themselves to you, you're only the excuse to get them talking. So, everywhere you go, you do this, and I don't care if it's the gas station, or at work, picking a kid up from school, or answering a telemarketer...

"Do you have special deals for people on their birthday?"

Ask at the grocery checkout. Ask at the toll booth. If nobody calls you then get out the phone book and call the radio station. "Do you make special accomodations for people on their birthday? Will you send me a cake?"

Grant these ignorant slobs the opportunity to be human, to say more to you than, "That's $15 please..." Don't hide the fact under a reserved demeanor, go out to dinner and see if the restaurant will give you free dessert, or even the whole meal. Ask the florist if they do special arrangements for people who have to buy their own flowers on their birthday. Make your birthday known, as you did here, so that others - like we are - can celebrate you.

Happy Birthday, Silver.

Hi ohhhh silver and happy birthday!

New Englanders can be very cool and we tend to be a bit clanish. I live in Rhode Island and I have met many people here who find the concept of travel to be foriegn. I had some friends who lived in the very northern part of the state about 45 minutes from a beach house they rented every summer. When the time came each year for them to go to the beach they responded with horror to the idea of the "long trip" they were taking. Underneath our cool exterior there lurks warm hearts. It just takes time to see them.

You have a wonderful birthday silver and do something fun and crazy just for you. Ehem. Can a woman be a knight in shinning armour. If so, let me don the suite. I love rescuing damsels in distress.
