You know so little about sports.....![]()
That proves you know little about me, if anything at all about anything/anyone at all.
Back on-topic, everyone.

Kevin Durant to Join the Golden State Warriors
New York Times-16 minutes ago
Have fun getting your shots, Kevin.......
Don't be surprised if Dwyane Wade signs with Cleveland soon. I know, it seems like a financial improbability, but that's the only thing holding things back, in my opinion. Wade wants to play there, and LeBron wants him there.
If he wanted to sign with Cleveland, what's the hold up?
Gotta say, I'm surprised he went this year. Was assuming he'd do the one plus one in OKC to get one more year. Made game 7 of the West Conf finals and had 8 point lead in game 6 to close it out and played horrendous to fail there. Great player but thought he'd give it one more shot. Plus leaving about 80 Mill on table (only if he stayed with OKC long term but what's 80 mill in this crazy funny money NBA environment).
Westbrook will not be back in OKC after this year and I think they will maybe shop him for some value. No way you do that with KD on a title contender last year even if you knew he was leaving, but they are not that now and you don't want to lose two superstars and get nothing for them.
Money. Cleveland is financially strapped. Somebody would have to be traded to make cap space, or somebody would have to give up part of their salary, or restructure their contract, perhaps several somebodies, in order to pay Wade. Money is the only holdup.
Or Wade could take less than he's asking other teams.
The way things stand right now, the most Cleveland can pay him is less than four million a year. His wife would kill him if he agreed to that.![]()

"The Cleveland Cavaliers Twitter account just started following Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union.
Is this a sign? If so, what does it mean, if anything?
The Cleveland Indians Twitter account is also following Dwyane Wade.
It was reported today that Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade and the Cleveland Cavaliers are holding preliminary discussions about Wade coming to Cleveland, The Huffington Post reports."
Kevin Durant is the biggest pussy ever. He is worse than the 2010 version of Lebron James. What an embarrassment to the game of basketball.
I can't imagine Wade signing with Cleveland. Too much money would be left on the table. I'm wondering if that's the reason Lebron hasn't signed yet, could they be possibly thinking of a way to work things out that way?
Anyway, whatever. We might as well cancel November-May, because it's obvious who's going to be playing in June. A rematch of the last two finals.
LeBron has got to be wondering if the Cavs can beat the Warriors again next year with KD as a part of the opposition. I'm guessing he thinks probably not, the way it stands. So he's probably trying to figure something out that would be an upgrade for his team. Maybe he thinks Wade would help. Or maybe he just wants to play with Wade so much that's his main consideration, even more than beating the Warriors again. After all, he's already fulfilled his promise to Cleveland to get a title for them. Anyway, it's kind of fun to see how KD going to the Warriors is causing repercussions all over.
I'm a big proponent of these "super teams". I hate them, I think they destroy the competitive balance. If Durant wanted to go to San Antonio, Boston, Miami, I wouldn't have a problem, but for him to go to a team that just won 73 games, seems ridiculous. His decision has made the Warriors enemy number one for the season.
As for Dwyane Wade, I'm not sure how much a soon-to-be 35-year-old would help Cleveland.
Maybe Cleveland will trade Love for Carmelo, somehow sign Wade, and then trade Irving for Chris Paul. Lebron could have all his buddies and they could go for the dream!

I'd rather have Love than Carmelo. What's Carmelo going to do without the ball?

Love is one of the most underrated players I've ever seen. Even most people in Cleveland don't seem to appreciate how important he was to the team's success this year. Oh well, he's rich and now he has a ring. Laugh's on his critics.
