Gotta say, I'm surprised he went this year. Was assuming he'd do the one plus one in OKC to get one more year. Made game 7 of the West Conf finals and had 8 point lead in game 6 to close it out and played horrendous to fail there. Great player but thought he'd give it one more shot. Plus leaving about 80 Mill on table (only if he stayed with OKC long term but what's 80 mill in this crazy funny money NBA environment).

Westbrook will not be back in OKC after this year and I think they will maybe shop him for some value. No way you do that with KD on a title contender last year even if you knew he was leaving, but they are not that now and you don't want to lose two superstars and get nothing for them.

Don't be surprised if Dwyane Wade signs with Cleveland soon. I know, it seems like a financial improbability, but that's the only thing holding things back, in my opinion. Wade wants to play there, and LeBron wants him there.

Money. Cleveland is financially strapped. Somebody would have to be traded to make cap space, or somebody would have to give up part of their salary, or restructure their contract, perhaps several somebodies, in order to pay Wade. Money is the only holdup.

Vegas said 90% that he would stay with OKC....made sense to me. No way Westbrook stays....but next years crop is better for free agency.

Even LA Lakers and Mitch Cup-check might get a good player.....

Or Wade could take less than he's asking other teams.

The way things stand right now, the most Cleveland can pay him is less than four million a year. His wife would kill him if he agreed to that. :D

Wade will NOT go to Cleveland, he WILL stay in Miami.....why he gave away money to Pat Riley, i'll never understand. Hope Bosh is healthy...

Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers' Twitter accounts now follow Dwyane Wade

"The Cleveland Cavaliers Twitter account just started following Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union.

Is this a sign? If so, what does it mean, if anything?

The Cleveland Indians Twitter account is also following Dwyane Wade.

It was reported today that Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade and the Cleveland Cavaliers are holding preliminary discussions about Wade coming to Cleveland, The Huffington Post reports."

"Will Wade actually sign with the Cavs? Probably not. For one, there are plenty of financial obstacles in the way, primarily the Cavaliers’ lack of cap space. According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, the Cavaliers could only offer a $3.4 million mid-level exception contract to Wade. "

Kevin Durant is the biggest pussy ever. He is worse than the 2010 version of Lebron James. What an embarrassment to the game of basketball.

I can't imagine Wade signing with Cleveland. Too much money would be left on the table. I'm wondering if that's the reason Lebron hasn't signed yet, could they be possibly thinking of a way to work things out that way?

Anyway, whatever. We might as well cancel November-May, because it's obvious who's going to be playing in June. A rematch of the last two finals.

Now it's being reported Denver is offering Wade $50 million over two seasons.

I can't imagine him going there, but if he really wants the money....

LeBron has got to be wondering if the Cavs can beat the Warriors again next year with KD as a part of the opposition. I'm guessing he thinks probably not, the way it stands. So he's probably trying to figure something out that would be an upgrade for his team. Maybe he thinks Wade would help. Or maybe he just wants to play with Wade so much that's his main consideration, even more than beating the Warriors again. After all, he's already fulfilled his promise to Cleveland to get a title for them. Anyway, it's kind of fun to see how KD going to the Warriors is causing repercussions all over.

I'm a big opponent of these "super teams". I hate them, I think they destroy the competitive balance. If Durant wanted to go to San Antonio, Boston, Miami, I wouldn't have a problem, but for him to go to a team that just won 73 games, seems ridiculous. His decision has made the Warriors enemy number one for the season.

As for Dwyane Wade, I'm not sure how much a soon-to-be 35-year-old would help Cleveland.

Maybe Cleveland will trade Love for Carmelo, somehow sign Wade, and then trade Irving for Chris Paul. Lebron could have all his buddies and they could go for the dream!

That might make LeBron happy, along with Carmelo, Wade, and Paul, but it would sure piss off a lot of other people. :D

I'd rather have Love than Carmelo. What's Carmelo going to do without the ball?

I'm not much of a Carmelo Anthony fan either, but I saw a list of his greatest teammates the other day and they were nothing to write home about. He's really played with garbage for most of his career.

Agree. I would have no problem with KD signing the 1+1 deal, staying in OKC one more year and then if they don't win it, moving on if that is what he wants to do. Read Royce Young's article in ESPN.com posted yesterday - it's excellent!

Wade isn't going to Clev just because of the money issue. He wants a 3 year deal and so far most of these suitors are not willing to do that full in. Clearly there is divorce in the air this year with him and Miami much more than in the past. Sounds like he is meeting with teams next day or so. Wild NBA off season!

Love is one of the most underrated players I've ever seen. Even most people in Cleveland don't seem to appreciate how important he was to the team's success this year. Oh well, he's rich and now he has a ring. Laugh's on his critics.

The problem is it seems to be the way most teams win now. Boston did is a few years ago with luring Durant to play by trading for Ray Allen to go along with Paul Pierce. Miami did it by bringing Lebron...

Then you have Cleveland that had a crap load of number one picks because they sucked, but they sucked at drafting so they bring in Love/Lebron and go from laughing stock to champs

And how many people ran to LA to play with Kobe?

In Boston its frustrating because Danny Ainge is an idiot when it comes to building a team and he brags about all these picks he has accumulated that no one wants.

Take away the move for Garnett and Allen, the second biggest thing he did was trade Kendrick Perkins and replace him a Shaq when he was all but done. That and hold onto Rondo when people were interested and then trade him when everyone knew he was an over rated asshole. For some reason the allegedly 'tough' Boston media acts like Ainge is a genius, but the fan base is pissed.

Right now the only way to win is get one of these divas and let them tell you who they want to play with.

Cavs shouldnt have beat Warriors THIS year....who you kidding? But look for them, injury aside, to do it again. Frankly, Im not completely sure how it will work out for the Warriors....now they have 4 guys that like to shoot...

Id say, overrated. He was great on a bad team for years....Cav's should have kept Wiggins
