While we discuss this, I'm reminded of another, related 'event' which I've been meaning to write about for some time and this is perhaps the most appropriate context.
I'd 'experimented' on my (previous) live-in submissive partner with a 'Megger'. For those who don't have an electrical background, it's a high-voltage insulation test meter which - by virtue of its internal electronics - develops up to 1000V from simple internal batteries. Without getting into elaborate complexities, it's high voltage with very limited current so it's painful but (unless you have some very specific health issues) completely safe.
