I thought this thread could add to the "positive" feel of some of the others here on Lit, like "What made you smile today?" etc.

You can list whatever quality you like or admire in yourself or someone you care about, or even mention a personal achievement or success you've had/are having.

I like the varying ways my laugh comes out...and that I laugh so much I've been told it's infectious

In my husband:

I like his tenderness with me ...as well as a whole host of other qualities but I'll make other posts another time!

In my girlfriend:

See I thought some people may find it easier to list a quality they like in someone else rather than themselves , that's why I included that....but there's gotta be some qualities people like in themselves - surely!

Well......my husband and I just had our 15th anniversary. I love the way he makes me laff everyday!!!!! *even if neither one of us is having a good day*

Even tho my best friend and I rarely talk, I like the fact that we can pick up where we left off and it seems like we are never that far apart *not a quality i know*, but makes me warm and fuzzy nevertheless.


In myself........I never like to cause a conflict. I try not to say anything mean to anyone. I try to treat others as I would like to be treated. I am definitely non judgemental towards others and very tolerant......

I have a friend who is just lots of fun to talk with, we can talk openingly about everything. We've been able to discuss private matters about ourselves, each other and always do it with love.
Plus he is just funny as all get out.

A quality I like about myself is my laughter ~ I laugh quite a lot and find humor in so much of life, even when it is difficult.

A quality about myself that I admire is the way I tend to go to extreme lengths to protect the people I love. I will always do whatever I can to ensure their happiness and safety when I am in a posistion to do so.

A quality I admire in others is a good sense of humor. It can be bizzare and whacky, cynical and mocking or just plain corney. As long as you can make others laugh and have the ability to laugh at yourself, you have a gift.

I admire openess and candor, for myself it is my capacity to change to meet the sitiation......which gets better everyday.....this coming from a stick in the mud personality who tends to be shrieking and thrashing while change is thrust upon him......well....I am not that bad.....
I am good at nuturing, whether it be plants or people......
