Here's the list of what "I" want...

*Someone who smiles at the thought of talking to me

*Arms to hug me

*Someone who wants the love I have to give

*Soft kisses

*Quiet comfortable tenderness

*Someone to laugh with

*Someone who pushes my boundaries outward with care

*Someone who thinks I walk on stars

...I'll continue later, must shower for work. I woke up "longing" this morning.

A very reasonable list. Depending where you take it I believe you've so far described a knight. ;) At least, you haven't ruled one out. It would be clearer if you made a reference to a "fast horse" of course, but I look forward to seeing the rest of it, Blue...

Someone to remind me to "breathe"

Someone to smile at when I come home

Someone to tell "I love you because..."

Someone to leave "love notes" for

Someone to call just because I was thinking about them

Hears hoping it is not too long before this happens for you. Just because.

Someone who wears a coat of armor

Someone who rides off into the sunset on a horse

PB, there are knights of good character in every neighborhood. If you have trouble identifying them in your own backyard let me know. If a quick search comes up lacking we can talk about finding you a better neighborhood. ;)

*scanning neighborhood* Nope, no Knights found here.

Better neighborhood suggestions??? ;)

Well, I've heard impressive things about Canadian knights if you're not too picky about the fashion-sense (think plaid and those curious hats, ya know?) Personally, of course, I think the best of all possible choices are in MN. The greatest concentrations are on the eastern edge of the state...

How big a house you looking for, Blue?

PacificBlue, New Zealand is a great place. :)

I hope you find the one you are
looking for.

The walls

It's only existing if the knight is alone. Living requires company.

Nice list......It will happen when you least expect it.

I am new here but I saw your list. The truth is I think what you want is what everyone wants. I too am without a SO in my life right now. It can be hard at times but you just have to keep your chin up and hope for the best. IT WILL HAPPEN. Trust me. You will probably be surprised when you find him. He might be the guy you bump into at the super market, or the new mail carrier, or the copier repair guy that comes to your place of business to fix that blasted copier. Who knows it might be that devilishly handsome new lit member that is making his first post right now, LOL. You sound like a great person. I really hope you find just what it is you are looking for!

Those are such sweet and very loving sentiments. Make sure to keep those up throughout the life of the relationship, and your companion will indeed be the knight you've been searching for.

I protest, I think the moderators should move this to the personals board!!

:p Not

Blue hon, I know what you mean. I'm not looking to fall in love, too soon after I last gotr burnt, but I ache for the closeness and comfort to be had when you share your life with someone special.

PacificBlue... when you find your knight, if he has a brother... would you let me know??

Welcome to lit, natahan - how does YOU rate a new mail carrier?

Yeah, PB, it's all about the company, you're so very right. Even introverts are, in fact, social creatures... many can "get by" alone, but it is our relationships which define us. The people who settle for letting a career define them miss the best of being alive.

It is also our relationships which inspire us. Nobody is a great person alone, though some do manage to draw on past relationships for a great deal.

The currency of humanity is friendship. That is what buys happiness. Ultimately it's also what buys peace, too.
