Getting along, had to take a break for a while, haven't reopened my pic thread, have mixed thoughts on that.

yeah.... I try to take breaks but they never seem to last too long. guess I'm addicted.buckeye007 said:Getting along, had to take a break for a while, haven't reopened my pic thread, have mixed thoughts on that.
I think of that, and other things, it also takes some time...have to find time to take them in private and what-notmrtnmoon said:yeah.... I try to take breaks but they never seem to last too long. guess I'm addicted.
dunno what to tell you about the pic thread. if I was in decent shape I'd probably have one, but I know it's not always that simple. people get worried that someone they know will come across their pics, etc.
yeah, I guess I never thought of that. might be kind of tricky, especially if you don't live alone.buckeye007 said:I think of that, and other things, it also takes some time...have to find time to take them in private and what-not![]()

I know......went to bed at midnight - thinking "well, it's only 11 and I'm not that tired". And got up at 7 thinking - "well, it's 8 - guess I'd better get the day going". So where does that extra hour of sack time come in? And besides your pee schedule is all screwed up so you gotta get up anyway.mrtnmoon said:last night was "fall back"... turn your clock back an hour. I think most people kind of look forward to it because they get to sleep an extra hour. I was looking forward to it, too, but it seemed like it just made the night drag. I woke up a couple of times thinking it would be almost time for me to get up and I still had hours to go. in the end I didn't wind up feeling any more rested than usual.
that's one thing I am definitely not liking about getting older. it seems like I have to get up about every 90 minutes. how is someone supposed to rest when they're running laps to the bathroom all night long?!? *sigh*SecretLove69 said:And besides your pee schedule is all screwed up so you gotta get up anyway.![]()
Every 90 minutes? That settles it then - no more juice after supper for you Mister. Don't make me get your "special" night-night boxers out.mrtnmoon said:that's one thing I am definitely not liking about getting older. it seems like I have to get up about every 90 minutes. how is someone supposed to rest when they're running laps to the bathroom all night long?!? *sigh*
ummm.... don't even joke like that. if I ever get to where I have to wear special underwear or a diaper, I'm checking out.SecretLove69 said:Don't make me get your "special" night-night boxers out.![]()
And don't you even joke like that......besides it's the wrong thread for that kinda talk anywaymrtnmoon said:ummm.... don't even joke like that. if I ever get to where I have to wear special underwear or a diaper, I'm checking out.
Check out time isn't until 11:00.who says I'm joking?SecretLove69 said:And don't you even joke like that......besides it's the wrong thread for that kinda talk anywayCheck out time isn't until 11:00.
I've thought that beforemrtnmoon said:some people see the glass as half full; some people see the glass as half empty. I look around and I think, "hey, I didn't even get a fucking glass!"

one day before "adventure: california dreaming" begins. I've been trying to not get freaked out about the flying thing, and have done ok for the most part. I mean, I'm nervous but not freking out yet. still, I can't help thinking at times, "what if something happens and I never make it back?"
to that end, even though it's going to cut into my cali cash and I'm not gonna tell mom why we're doing it, I'm gonna take mom and bro out for breakfast this morning. they keep advertising this place called ihop.... nothing fancy, but mom seems to like the idea of going there sometime. even tho she's diabetic she dearly loves her blueberry pancakes smothered in whipped cream and all that junk.
I found out where there's an ihop not terribly far away from here, so that's where we're going. personally, I'm not really a breakfast food person but I gotta say that the pumpkin and carrot cake pancakes they were pushing sounded kinda tasty.

don't just lurk.... say howdy every now and then.sassykat said:You are not talking to yourself...there are those of us who lurk....

I hope I have a great time, too. I think I will, for the most part. there are just things I think about, being the worrywart that I am. I mean, I'm a big guy and the world (and movie theaters, baseball stadiums and airplanes in particular) aren't designd for big guys. also, I'm venturing into the heart of the "thin is in" world. I try not to think about it, but I can't help it crossing my mind some.SecretLove69 said:AND YES - tomorrow it is "wheels up" for you.
I hope you have a great time. I'll be thinking of you and jealous as hell that you will be enjoying some warm temperatures. Maybe getting your toes in the ocean too I hope.
In any case - try not to sweat the plane ride - I think you'll enjoy yourself. And you will be back - no worries.![]()

thanks, nor. I am definitely looking forward to temps highrer than 40 degrees.NorthernPA4U said:I've been really, really busy at work (blah) these days, but I did want to hop in here and wish you a great trip to California. I think you'll have a great time, and it's bound to be better weather than what you'd be experiencing at home this time of year.

Awww don't worry about all the "plastic" people out there. They are all just a cookie or two away from looking like the rest of us. Besides all those scrawny babes out there are probably hungry for a cutie like you with some meat for them to chew on. AND ANYWAY - I don't happen to think there is anything wrong with you.
I've already been told there would be some beach time involved. that's one of the big reasons I wanted to go. we lived in cali when I was a kid, but since we came back when I was 5 I don't really remember anything about it, except the time I got burned and the time I got my head stuck in the rails on the stairwell.
Well hon, don't go sticking your head where it don't belong this time - ummm the one on your shoulders anyway.![]()
I am really looking forward to seeing the ocean. if I thought seeing lake michigan was amazing, this ought to be even more so. and hey, depending on the temp, maybe some hot asses in bikinis on the beach. you know I'll hate that.
Oh yeah, you would certainly look away if you saw any half nekkid beach bunnies playing volleyball. Try not to trip over your tongue.![]()
I wanna hear all the details when you get back - unless you take pictures to share.![]()
Have fun sweetie. You'll be in my thoughts.![]()
