I'm tired of seeing headlines like this.

I'm tired of hearing how everyone who does something wrong was not at fault but just charmed by something else.

If violent video games make people want to kill then I'm way past due to mindlessly kill people in my college.

I guess plain old revenge for being expelled was too simple a reason that this kid killed a bunch of people at the school and there was obviously another reason.

Maybe if murder was some new thing that just only recently started happening I'd believe this bs but I'm not going to.

Germany can do whatever the hell it wants to...but if they think that banning games is going to eliminate murder in their country then they are just being stupid.

at the risk of sounding like the old fucker that i am, what ever happened to standing up and taking responsibility for your actions and then accepting your punishment like a man?

i couldn't put my finger on a particular time that things changed but they certainly did. violent games, violent movies, my daddy spanked me when i was a child and i never got over it. grow the hell up, quit your whinnin' and admit that you fucked up.

and parents, quit making excuses for the little shits. when they screw up do something about it. it's called parenting for christ's sake. but his friends were mean and his teachers didn't understand him. get over it. all kids are mean to other kids and it's not the teacher's job to raise your kid.

I blame the lawyers, lawsuits, etc. etc. for the mindset change in society. Blame others, make a buck, everyone thinks I'm the victim then, yadda yadda yadda.

I'm gonna try blaming my next speeding ticket on Gran Turismo. I'll sue Sony for $67.50 and a new wheel controller.

*Sigh* Yeah. I am getting tired of this crap too. Reading these stories sets off warning bells in my head. Something is really wrong, but people are consistently looking in the wrong direction trying to solve it. Turn back, this is not the way!

The thing that irks me is that there asre people are still convinced that there are simple solutions to complex problems.

And that there are people who can't understand that motivations for violence can come from multiple sources.

I am tired of it too and I agree with what unclej said. People need to take responsibility for their actions and stop trying to blame it on someone or something else.
There is obviously something wrong emotionally with these kids that start shooting up their classmates. If the parents were parenting the way they should be, they would be well aware of the issues that needed to be dealt with in their childrens lives before anything senseless like this happened.
