My mama is coming to visit!

I haven't seen her since Jan '11, and I'm all excited!
She's here for two weeks.
One of the things we're going to do is get a photo taken of all 4 generations of women.... Mama, myself, my daughter and her daughter.
It will go on the wall underneath the photo of the other 4 generations.... my Omi, mama, myself and daughter. Sadly, my Omi passed away just after my daughter got pregnant.

Are your parents close by? Or are you like us - scattered all over the place?

Yep - only this one has been modified.

The whole 'raising sheep and cows for food' thing was a bit of a shock, but it was tempered by being a blood-relation.

The immediate relations for both the man and I live 12 hours west of us, its just about the right distance as far as we are concerned. We both have some extended family within the tri-state area but we're not terribly close with them.

Our parents weren't happy that the grandbaby would no longer be in the same time zone but it was a good move for us.
