My Little Pony...

LOL. Pony's playing games they lack the digits for. Given the powers of those two they could play that game, with real rocks papers and scissors.

Also the Great and Powerful Trixie needs her own damn show, one where she tries to take over the world!

You have to wonder if she ever got into a conversations where she just couldn't talk because nothing rhymes with Orange.

You have to wonder if she ever got into a conversations where she just couldn't talk because nothing rhymes with Orange.

That is a tough one. You'd have to take poetic license.

"I've liked to have orange
Ever since I was born-ch"

Reminds me of "No More Kings" and one of my favorite songs of theirs, "Leaving Lilliput" which is written from both Gulliver's point of view and a Lilliputian on the radio discussing the developments. the end goes like...

"Hello again, my Lilliputian friends
I bring thee bad tidings
I don't mean to preach
But there's trouble at the beach
A security breach
And the Big Man is out of reach
What lesson does this teach?
Hey man I don't gotta rhyme all the time!
I'm just a newscaster

(pause)

Telling you about disaster"

It is a long comic, but lot of web comics are, I forgot to link it earlier but there are lots of stuff as you're quickly finding. MLP fans are second only to Dr. Who fans and perhaps Buffy Fans (we'll see how long the fandom lasts after the show is cancelled for that, Buffy n Xena have been off for a little less than ten years and a little more respectively) as far as sheer love and second to none when it comes to just creating masses of fan made content.

Though it isn't all safe for work. (that as far as I can recall is more or less completely clean. There might be a few jokes it's been a while since I've read the beginning arcs. But it's good fun.

Yeah, Alicorns, I had never heard the term before MLP but now that's the only term I use, mostly because it sounds a lot less stupid than Unipegasus which is what I used to call them.

I can do some of the reddit stuff, because the MLP stuff is moderated and fun.

Tumblr made me back out quietly and shut that door with a lock on it. Sad.

I find most of it amusing as hell, only the gore stuff makes me really back off and even then it's often laughting as I go but I fully understand how you could get upset and stay away from it on places without moderation.

What can I say, a couple hundred thousand or million people together have a habit of seeing how far they can push the package simply for the sake of pushing the package. This how we be rollin.

I'm not actually upset, it's just that when I go to look for something that's not what I'm looking for.

My daughter is on tumblr and she gave me a bunch of sex links and since I'm hanging out here (and she's hung out here) I figure...fine, no problem. The guys who post it are artistic and witty. I can hang with that. It's fun. BUT...Tumblr is "roll the dice" and there was just one day when I got up at 6 am to start work and I check in on my pages and "OHMIGOD VIGOROUS FISTING OW"

So what do I do? I wasn't really in the mood for fisting, and now I have to...find something else, scroll down, scroll up, there's fisting there now forever until my Tumblr updates. Made a command decision to unsubscribe.

Reddit's cool because I have to choose in each moment, do I want something Not Safe For Work or not in that moment.

The idea of seeing Pinky Pie get nonconsensually fisted is really not what I'm into, so I'll just stick to the moderated or labeled stuff.

Fair enough, I'm not a fan of surprises any more than I am of unpermitted touching. I don't do reddit anyway for whatever reason, and I don't so much mind "there is a box, I do not know what is in the box but I was told no to touch it!" surprise but I hate it when I think I know what I'm getting.

I think my least favorite surprise was Horchata (Mexican Rice Milk if I remember properly) the only important detail is the Food Truck sold it in a container identical to the milk it was selling so I bought a breakfast burrito and a bottle of 'milk'.

I was not pleased.

I've been told I post too much on Lit, so reddit is good for me. Larger community with more anonymity and a lot of humor. Good for a pop culture hit for a few seconds at a time and good conversations. For contrast, the MLP section has...132450 subscribers. Easier to not stand out in a crowd.

I like creativity more than surprises, but surprising creativity is my favorite.

Your welcomd, if I'd been thinking I would have linked it the moment you mentioned being into DnD and WoW. I must have been a bit Renarded at the moment. It's a fun read some of the later chapters start getting into shit that all DnD players have had happen at least once or twice where one of your players simply outsmarted you and you had to deal with the fact that you built the entire encounter around them chasing the the evil wizards through the dungeons and someone just says "Nope. Not doing that. Bring the dynamite. We're blocking up the cave, putting up a do not enter sign and in two hundred years someone else can come collect their corpses!"

OMG, you has the twitchy tail! It's really not fair to anybody else to hang around Pinky. She seems to make up the rules as she goes along.

I'd do best with Pinky and Fluttershy.

Funny, I've watched enough so I hear their voices in my head when I read the webcomic. It's a perk.

Yeah, and the author does a pretty damn good job of keeping them in character enough that it's really easy to hear the voices.

With that party I'd probably end up playing Rarity, Pinky is higher energy than I can usually maintain, AJ is too straight forward, Fluttershy is fluttershy, I could probably handle Dashy or Ms. Sparkle though.

My two favorite classes are druid first and bard second.

Though it's true, bards suuuuuck in a lot of circumstances depending on the game. But my Everquest bard and druid were AWESOME.

In the story my son wrote he wanted to know what superpower I wanted and I stuck with healing. Talking to animals and entertaining people and healing...way cooler than other stuff.

A lot of that deals with the game, how well it's balanced and how long you play. In 2nd Edition DnD Bards were AMAZING. They leveled up quickly (much quicker than Wizards) and while they capped out at 5th level spells they got 5th level spells while the Wizards were still dicking around with 2nd level spells, and they had other abilities to make up for it. As they've steadily worked on balancing the game they've become progressively less awesome but still generally the guys with the widest variety of powers.

In MMOs the classes are all supposed to be balanced, of course that's often bullshit especially without a group. Being support without someone to support for example is no fun.

Healing isn't so bad. I'm rarely the healer cus when I do play a healer (in DnD) I tend to play these super pacifist guys who are healing friends and stabalizing enemies.

Comes down to me being personally offended at NOT being able to heal myself. Seems like that's just wrong.

Yeah, as a non-Trekkie, like at all it's more accurate that Discord was once in outer space. Which nobody doubts. At all.

Because Rarity knows Kung Fu and will kick you if you touch Tom.

And Fluttershy is immune to trolling?! Who's immune to trolling that's not even fucking fair!

And I need a balloon garden.

I love these guys.

"My sister's speaking in fancy!"

Cutie Pox is a very serious disease!

Which when you spend too much time thinking about kinda makes you wonder if Rarity is somehow broken. Her magical butt tattoo doesn't really make a whole lot of sense.

Twilight: Got stars n stuff=Magic
Applejack: Got apples=Farmer, apple farmer specifically
Rainbowdash: Got rainbow lightning bolt= Super fast weather pony
Pinky: Got balloons=Party animal and random cartoon powers
Fluttershy: Got butterflies= good with animals and delicate persona (not perfect)
Rarity: Got Diamonds =Makes dresses. Can find gems but seems to have relatively little interest in them beyond "typical female" I like shiny rocks. WTF?!

Wait. . .you passed the Super Cider Speedy 6000! There might have been an episode around it, I mostly remember Pinky being a bitch and teasing Dashy and and awesome song!

Oh, and now that you've completed season 1 you may not agree but you've gotten far enough to understand why Celestia has the nickname Trollestia.

Sure sending 2 tickets when you know there are 6 ponies is mean.
You invited a bunch of "teens" to a formal event mostly because you're always bored to tears at the event and secretly hoped they'd act like fools.
Allow Fluttershy, FLUTTERSHY! near a dying Pheonix? C'mon that's. . .she had to know what was going to happen! How could you not?!

I'm totally working Princess Luna into my next campaign.

Unfortunately Princess Celestia is the typical absent adult in a kid's book or show. Vaguely benevolent, but pretty much useless except in fear that you will disappoint them somehow.

The phoenix was awesome. As a Harry Potter fan I figured it out early.

I  turtle (tortoise!)

I think Princess Luna make the fun doubled.
