I lost another 1.8 pounds last week.

Next summer I'm going to be in a kick ass bathing suit on the beach somewhere tropical.

Thank you. I've been doing the weight watchers thing since February. I'm pretty proud of myself for sticking with it and all the healthy changes I've made to my diet. I'm getting there...one week at a time. ;)

Thats the spirit, tackle it one pound at a time, Congrats. :)

You did, in fact. You've also spoken of wanting to go to a nude beach, haven't you?

PB,

Good for you. But don't wait too long. Go find a kick ass beach to show off your killer bathing suit this year. Then gloat about your confident strut down the beach both this *and* next year.

You are a gorgeous woman that we want to see on the beach ASAP.

I joined Weight Watchers. I journal every day what I eat. Every food has a points value based upon it's calorie, fat, and fiber content. You get so many points per day, depending on your current weight. You can earn more points by exercising. That said...

I watch my portion sizes carefully. I've learned that we typically eat way to much food on a daily basis. I limit processed foods. I eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables a day...not as difficult as you might think. I drink at least 60 ounces of water a day. Absolutely NO food is off my points plan...if I'm really craving something, I plan for it...thus I never feel deprived. This is my lifestyle...NOT A DIET! :) *end rant* I park as far away as I can from anyplace I need to shop so that I get mini-exercise walks in all day long. I try to exercise 4-5 times a week at an aerobic level.

It's a process. I didn't do all of this the first week. I took one thing a week and practiced until I put it all together. Some weeks I do really well at putting it all together and some weeks I don't. Some weeks, I refocus and just take one thing...such as exercise. It's taken years to perfect bad habits...it's going to take a few months to retrain myself.

Going to meetings works for me because I'm accountable to weigh in once a week. I've made quite a few friends there who encourage me and I encourage them on a weekly basis. They understand my struggle because they are there too struggling with their weight issues. Some have a lot to lose and some 10 pounds.

Shoot! I timed myself out. That was me. *blush*

Feel free to ask questions...I'll do my best to answer them. ;)
