Actually, there are beaches in Chicago along Lake Michigan (which is huge, you can't see the other side), and I live right by it. No donkeys, though, it's more of a city beach.

Chicago is very nice, much nicer than blackpool, maybe i should just bring my own liberated set of blackpool donkeys with me when i invade the gorgeous lake beach

The "shires", on the other hand, sound quite nice and refined. As for Chicago, it is indeed very nice. (I still owe you a list of Chicago stuff, BTW.) Are the donkeys truly necessary? I could substitute, I've been known to make an ass of myself. *Ba-dum ching!*
