Several threads (and one book) inspired these two quick questions...


1) What is the origin of the term "Mother Fucker?"

I was just thinking about that today... I mean, WFT?


2) Is unlyrical music supposed to be that way? When I say unlyrical I am talking about those songs that have lyrics but you just can't make out WTF they are saying.

For example in case you still don't understand:

- That song "Blinded by the Light."
What is he saying?? It has ALWAYS sounded like "Wrapped up like a douche" to me....

- Louie Louie... (what more can I say?)

Does anyone else have a song like that... where you just can't figure out what they are singing about at all?


Anyway, those are my questions.
Anybody who can answer the first one accurately gets sex.

Many heavy rock songs are meant to be that way. Louie, Louie was originally a sailor song and sung to reflect the poor background of the men singing it.

I believe the term mother fucker, apart from first being derived from Oedipus complex, came with Freud's discoveries with the human mind, more importantly the id and the ego and the superego.
You see, Freud's original thoughts on dreams were that every man was your father, and every woman was your mother.
Also he stated that dreams have 2 meanings, there is an obviouse meaning, which was usually sexual for Freud, but there was also a deeper meaning which could only be figured out through lengthy therapy. I am sorry, I am ranting back to the question...
Freud had a theory that every man had a primary urge to have sex with their mothers, because that is the first woman who they come in contact with. Seriously, ask yourself, who's boobs did you first fell? mommy's
I know it sounds sick, but then again Freud wasn't exactly a healthy man himself.
Thats why the term mother fucker is disrespectul soo much, you ever see the face of a person who you say it too, once in a while some guy will blush, because they are thinking about it, or if the case of some of these literotica stories are true, actually did have sex with them.

I'm not sure about the origins of "mother-fucker", but I can say a thing or two about jumbled lyrics.

The "Louie, Louie" case was very funny... You have these stupid white guys, the Kingsman, trying to sing a JAMAICAN song! And of course everyone in America couldn't understand a damn thing they said, which prompted a 2 year FBI investigation over possible obsene lyrics. That still cracks me up.

I don't have trouble understanding the lyrics to songs if I really try and understand them. Nirvana was my favorite band for a long time, so I had to be good at understanding them.

I'm not sure if the music is supposed to be that way or if it just comes out that way. You be the judge, but I'd have to say it just comes out that way.
