I do love a good plate of biscuits and gravy!! However, my question is that if you do like them, do you split your biscuits open or do you leave them whole and just pour the gravy over them?

I like to cut mine in half and ladle on the gravy and then splash hot sauce on the top.

The reason I ask is when looking for a pic, I noticed the gravy just poured on top ...

Although now when you go to Hardees/Carl's Jr's, they give it to you in a separate cup.
You need to dunk the biscuit into the gravy. Obviously not while driving.
