Or rather, not moving when you were supposed to. The Big Haul got delayed for a week due to delayed paperwork.

I now have 12 identitcal big boxes on top of each other in the middle of my living room and somewhere in one of them is my coffee maker.

God dammit.

Will your mom be sorry to see you go?

Now you're forced to ingest your money into the local economy and go to a hipster coffee shop for your fix, I reckon.

There here 'burbs are about as hipster as a Walmart parking lot. But yeah, they probably have some sort of caffeing delivery solution.

Moving sucks, just did that last fall. There were some benefits of downsizing but it still sucks.

I have moved so many times that I now have a special bag just for my kettle, cups, coffee, etc.
They are the last things packed, and the first unpackged.

Yea....kitchen kit right next to the toiletries, duffel and the laptop.

I've had a rather nomadic life.

Moving bites. I'm hauling all my stuff south as of mid February via uhaul. Oh joy.

We moved four years ago.

The house we lived in had been mine for ten years, then we lived there together for another ten. I collect everything and my wife is a border line hoarder. She won't part with a fart as my grandmother used to say.

We had so much shit it was ridiculous including a ton of comics, figures, fixtures and who knows what from the store.

We moved over a weekend. Me, the wife, my two daughters their boyfriends and eight other people.

6 trips with a 20' u-haul in addition to everyone's cars.

Absolute insanity. I won't do it again, I am going to die in the house we're in now.

I am supposed to be packing boxes right now. I am stalling. A couple of years ago this started as a traveling light, couchsurf.

Somehow, in a couple of years while doing basically nothing, I managed to acquire a couple of pick up loads of stuff that I now have to pack and store.

My new semi temporary place is starting to fill up 250 miles away. And not with stuff from here; I went there with nothing but a small duffel. I actually do very well traveling light. I like living like a monk. I have no idea why I tend to accumulate things wherever I land.

A couple of years ago, I looked into selling my books rather than move them. I now have all those in boxes, and a full bookshelf here. I have probably 40 new books at the new temporary place. Only a handful are unread. Few will be read a second time.

Moving is good for de-cluttering and starting over.
I've never lived more than 3 years in one place.

I hate moving!
I moved a couple months ago and I am still not totally unpacked.
I unpacked 8 boxes of books just today.
