Moving and finding the scene.

Hey all,

I'm moving from Seattle to Boston in about two weeks time, and I've wondered about finding other places, events, groups in the area. I know they have a club that does a fetish night, so I know there's somewhat of a scene... but I'm not exactly sure about how to go about finding the different groups or events in the area.

Here in Seattle there's a wonderful more underground/secretive club that has all kinds of events. They're not closed off to some people, its just that they try very hard to filter the people that find out about the place... and have people go through an orientation before ever coming to the events.

Anyways, the place here does shows, presentations, seminars, sales, plus all kinds of actually dancing and movie nights, every night of the week... all at the building/warehouse that they rent and have set up. I'd love to be able to find a place like this in the Boston area, but again.. don't know how to go about looking.

What have other people done in the past?

Any suggestions or thoughts on this would be awesome.
