I didn't do anything, someone e-mailed it to me the other day, i checked the size it was only 55kb so under the 100kb limit, and i posted it.
i noticed though that yours dosn't have a transparent background, so it may be bigger then mine is, therefor cannot animate (this is just a guess though)

Mine was emailed to me today.. I just right clicked and saved as...it was a bmp.. i changed it to a jpg.. hmmm that's really odd.. even the one saved on my computer isn't animated.

No such thing as an animated .bmp file

Somebody may have named it funny, but the bottom line is the file format for gifs is the way to achieve animations. I suppose technically it can be done with a .bmp but the suckers would be huge.
