Too bad I didn't listen.

It's funny, I always think of the word "Moorish" (as your definition describes there) when I hear the word morish/more-ish. It is actually a completely different (non) word.

I know what it means, in context, it's just a hard one to define. That's why I used the chocolate quote. It kind of means: when we eat something, or indulge in something, and it leaves us wanting more of the same thing.

Thanks, Erotic Tale! I was pretty chuffed about my story, and didn't even realise, until Lauren PM'd me.

Confuzzled is a good one, and makes me think of bamboozled. Hmmm, I have a feeling that might actually be a word. I'm confuzzled now.

I'm not altogether sure that there isn't a linkage between Moorish and More-ish.

My Grandmother used "Moorish" in a combination of the two meanings -- "Rich, elegant and almost sinfully beautiful" -- Moorish being slightly less complex than Baroque or Gothic, and also More-ish in the sense of wanting more.

My grandmother also used "Heathenish" for things that were "too pleasureable for a good christian to rightfully enjoy."

A word that my family uses a lot is "Spendy" to mean "more expensive than it should be."
