What uplifting news of your wonderful Wednesday, I came here to bring you cheer instead you have given me a warm glow.

wanted to tell you about my wonderful Wednesday. Some of you remember that Wednesday is massage day, and I did enjoy my first post-surgical massage even though she couldn't work as deeply as usual on my ass in the side-lying position. I got a gold star of approval from the plastic surgeon's PA for being off pain meds in less than a week and for excellent incision healing [there she goes again, little Ms. A+ overachiever]. What this means is:

cleared to Drive!!! [vrrrrmmmm]
cleared to drink my red wine [oh please...]

Plus I finally went to see an Ear, Nose, Throat specialist who did magic with my sinuses allowing me to BREATHE for the first time in weeks. Sometimes I am just too damn stubborn for my own good, toughing it out. Why didn't I do this sooner?! Oh well, it's working now.

And the day was topped off by a Five Yay phone call from my breast surgeon -- clean margins, no infiltration. Breast cancer is GONE. Now it's just recovery from surgery and soon I'll begin radiation treatment.

What a wonderful Wednesday!!!! All awesome news!!!! Glad to hear the awesome results!!!! I will still be thinking positive thoughts for your radiation treatments and the rest of your healing process.

Good to see you up and about, or at least posting to Lit.

How are you doing? We all hope you are recovering well.

I haven't been allowing myself any Lit time because I'm overwhelmed with real life communications, but I miss you all and I most definitely feel the energetic support.

We bought an adjustable bed last year. It is FABULOUS to sleep upon.

I totally agree! Mine is a Sleep Number adjustable bed. I like the Sleep Number features [surface adjustability plus I got the data collection feature], but I swear I like even more the way I can adjust both head of the bed and foot of the bed to fine tune comfort. Such a treat!

Sweet Mara, think of you every day, glad your husband and friends are comforting you.

I remember when they told me they got all my cancer during surgery. I was so pumped...but the next morning they told me all the lymph nodes they checked were also clear...about started floating! Congratulations dear Mara and welcome to the Cancer Survivors!

I definitely resonate with the floating!!!
my experience has been so simple compared to most, that it seem like Cancer Lite, but I will definitely take membership in the survivors club! thanks, Scot
