surgery went well, and I'm home recuperating. Thanks so much for all these messages -- what a gift to come home to all this. I feel cradled in loving support. Individual replies will wait for now.

Plus husband and the real life team are treating me tenderly, feeding me wonderfully well, and delivering variety packs of Haagen Dazs and gelato. The pain pills are keeping things down to a dull roar, and I'm in love with my adjustable bed.
