Moonlight Elf

This past week has been very rough for her. She was having difficulty breathing and so they had her on an oxygen mask. Her fevers were high and bad headaches. Tuesday the fever broke. Today, she is sitting up in bed and complaining about the horrible hospital food. I think it is safe to say that she is past the danger zone. Her doctors and nurses are all very good. They watch her closely and have taken great care of her.

I'm printing out the file with her thread(uptil the 20th) and taking it with me today. Hoping she is up to reading a bit. Hope that thread cheers her up.

:)

Fantastic news.
Wonderful.
Make sure you give her gentle, but all enveloping hugs from all of us.

Dance, dance, dance!

My daughter asked why I said "Yay!" so I told her...and she asked if we could go visit Moonie because when she was in the hospital that made her feel better...

tell her hello and I hope that you feel better

so we got even more of this family pulling for ya now, Elfie...

so good to hear good news...

keep going, Moonie... one foot in front of the other! :)

Great news...complaining is a real sign of getting better... :D

Message from Little Moonman

I know Fairy's already thanked you on our behalf but I wanted to take a second to say so myself.
I will admit that my first impulse was to refuse the gifts but Sis read out your note. We can't say how much your support has helped us through this time. Thank you, Abs, for everything and thank her friends for the goodies, prayers, and well wishes.

Sis is well on her way to recovery. The last spinal tap was taken today. The fluid looked clear and we are hoping the results come back negative. She is almost done with her medication and the bacteria should be gone from her system. She had suffered periods of depression but that is getting better. She is more herself. She grumbles, teases, smiles, complains, and bosses me around...lol.

Fairy went out and bought her a bright pink rode and slippers. Sis's never been the pink type not even when she was little but she loves her gift. Fairy and I are going shopping tomorrow for a few other things to make her more at home. She will be in the recovery ward for a bit so we need to make the stay as pleasant as possible.

Please give our thanks to everyone.
