It can not predict anything with 100% certainty. It can analyze patterns of climate changes and associated data and result in a higher probability (i.e. the educated part)How can science predict if global warming will continue or is it just part of a natural cycle occurring over eons?
yah, I'm sorry that you apparently failed your science classes when you were younger. Maybe you can enroll in one at your local community college. It does sound like you just don't have a grasp for what it is and what it is used for.I benefit from scientific advances all day long. If science can't predict the future, as you say, merely recording temperatures is useless.![]()
Get back to me in 100 years and we'll see who is right. It can not predict anything with 100% certainty. It can analyze patterns of climate changes and associated data and result in a higher probability (i.e. the educated part)

Scientific advances come from actual science. For example, we learned to combine certain chemicals and materials to have a desired outcome to make steel and rubber and dish soap. That came from recording inputs and outputs over and over and over. We continue to record them, even for things we are already knowledgeable about.
So we can predict that it will be 70° tomorrow. And we can predict that we will likely have another record breaking summer.
I don't need to get back to you. Climate change due to anthropogenic warming is happening. Whether it's cold today in your neighborhood is not relevant to that.Get back to me in 100 years and we'll see who is right.![]()
Will it continue? If not, it's not a problem. If science can't predict or use statistics, what good is it in this case?I don't need to get back to you. Climate change due to anthropogenic warming is happening. Whether it's cold today in your neighborhood is not relevant to that.
YesWill it continue? If not, it's not a problem.
It has predicted. If science can't predict or use statistics, what good is it in this case?![]()
God's plan. It's just as accurate as science can be. Or roll the dice. Yet you are so certain. Oh well.Yes
It has predicted.
Sea levels are continuing to rise faster.
Ice levels are continuing to fall faster.
Weather patterns are continuing to be more severe and aggressive.
Which god?God's plan
I don't remember him discussing sea levels rising or ice levels falling.. It's just as accurate as science can be.
I'm utilizing science to be certain.Or roll the dice. Yet you are so certain. Oh well.![]()
... from a better perspective though, amiright? An educated guess is more informed than a wild guess. But it's still just a guess.
We do NOT have the capability to predict long term effects of complex chaotic systems like the climate. Every prediction the hand wringers have made has been wrong. Will it continue? If not, it's not a problem. If science can't predict or use statistics, what good is it in this case?![]()
It's either normal activity or we're totally fucked. Either way, not much humans can do about it.We do NOT have the capability to predict long term effects of complex chaotic systems like the climate. Every prediction the hand wringers have made has been wrong.

^^^^Cultist.
The climate scientist have NOT “been wrong”.
Show your proof of your claim or shut your face -anus.
Even in its relative infancy, climate scientists ACTUALLY were RIGHT in their leanings on climate change:
https://abcnews.go.com/Technology/story?id=4335191&page=1
And climate science has only become MOAR accurate in predicting the effects of anthropogenic climate change - FIFTY PLUS YEARS of improvements in technology and
modeling will do that…
Hope that ^ helps.
We. Told. Them. So.

People are cultists because a bevy of evidence exists??^^^^Cultist.
Unless it’s an inter-glacial period, where you said science accurately predicted what would happen. LOL. You couldn’t even make it one page before proving yourself wrong. It’s hilarious to watch you not understand science. We do NOT have the capability to predict long term effects of complex chaotic systems like the climate. Every prediction the hand wringers have made has been wrong.

Which climate scientist said that??^this is the entire flaw in the climate science/change dogma.
This has been soundly debunked. Why is science so hard for you?
No he hasn't. And he didn't deny that warming was taking place. You seem to be incapable of critical thought. This has been soundly debunked. Why is science so hard for you?

Sorry you got shown to be wrong. Still waiting on some science from you.No he hasn't. And he didn't deny that warming was taking place. You seem to be incapable of critical thought.
